Manifest is a two day multistage punk music festival in Chapel Hill, NC focused on dismantling patriarchy, misogyny, and white supremacy by amplifying the voices of BIPOC artists and artists of marginalized genders including women, non-binary folk and trans men. A wild variety of genres but wholly music made by people who live life on their own terms. There is a strong, underlying, independent, an

d indomitable spirit of punk present in all the bands playing Manifest, whether we'd consider them rock, country, hardcore, electronic, you name it. Punk as in ____? Punk as in everyone. Manifest 7 Recap

The goal of Manifest was to create a space for our community to gather around art and find a pocket of joy in all this mess.

We succeeded in that, despite everything.
We found each other, and we found joy 🌈✨️

We love you community. Thank you for your love and support. With your help we were able to pay all the artists and donate over $700 to GRNC.

This donation is made in memory of Reese McHenry - may she continue to inspire young musicians in the triangle.

A member of Mean Habit has been accused of abuse and harassment by multiple members of the community. For this reason and this reason alone, Mean Habit was removed from the Manifest lineup.

Today Mean Habit made a post that is full of lies and calls for divisive action that is harmful to our community. They are currently deleting any comments on their post that contradict their intentional manipulation and distortion of the facts. The lies contained in their post are unfortunate and malicious and will only harm the curators of a small community festival and the other q***r and trans members of the lineup, but neither their censorship nor their lies can change the truth of the situation.

Manifest will remove any band from the lineup who is being actively accused of abusive behavior or coercive control out of respect for the victims, especially if and when we are presented with evidence to support the accusations.

As survivors of abuse, we firmly stand behind our decision to not allow any band with abuse accusations be a part of the Manifest lineup.

River Shook has entered the Chat 🤠
Co-founder of Manifest and badass country outlaw will be playing a very special duo set Saturday March 15 at Local 506.

What is Manifest? Manifest is a 2-day music festival in Chapel Hill, NC created in direct response to the underrepresentation of women and gender nonconforming folk in music. Manifest only books bands with members who identify as women, trans or non-binary and flood the scene for a weekend with these bands to manifest a more inclusive music scene. This year, Manifest 4 will be held on Oct 18th and 19th at three venues: The Local 506, The Nightlight and The Cave. What kind of music is it? A wild variety of genres but wholly music made by people who live life on their own terms.
