This Film Friday I’m sharing 35mm from the personal files!

Drew and I had an amazing wedding in Italy with the most amazing couple, then afterwards we jumped on a quick 1 hour flight to Croatia for a few days! We explored Dubrovnik, Hvar, and Split via ferry!

(We were so nonstop and so present, I honestly forgot to share any BTS on Insta stories!)

The water color, sunsets, nature, cities, architecture, history, and rich tapestry blending Ancient Western Roman Empire + Eastern European culture blew us away.

We definitely want to return to check out the national parks!

34th country for us together, 6th time in Italy, and so many more adventures to go 🥰

Amy and Alex’s perfect wedding taken on film, digital, and drone!

My favorite memories include their super fun and supportive wedding party constantly there to hype them up, frolicking right after the summer storm, seeing how happy their parents were, making the Princess Diaries TikTok, and literally just smiling until my cheeks hurt with my new friends!

Biltmore Estate Engagement Photo Tips:

I love the Biltmore Estate just as much as I love Nicole and Cruise!

Fun fact - Drew and I took our engagement photos at the Biltmore over 13 years ago!

Located in Asheville, NC this stunning castle/mansion has the most gorgeous gardens, greenhouse, mountain views, and gorgeous architecture. There are so many hidden corners to explore and I find new favorites every time!

Tips ⬇️

1. Pick a Monday-Thursday for fewer crowds and consider the off season.
2. Check the website for events and section closures because they are still renovating from the hurricane. A whole garden section was closed in March so be prepared to pivot. Don’t worry, there are plenty of stunning places!
3. Each section has a different time it closes so keep that in mind!
4. Wear comfy walking shoes because we’ll be doing a lot of exploring together!
5. Pick out 2-3 must-have spots and work your walking route around those
6. Be prepared for weather, things change fast in the mountains
7. Dress for the backdrop and your vision/vibe!
8. Ticket prices vary by day and season - so look ahead and buy early.
9. Golden hour is my favorite time but any time of day truly works!
10. Allow for at least 90 minutes and have fun taking in the views!!!

Obsessed with how these film and digital documentary moments came out!!

It was an entirely outdoor day at the Mint Art Museum in Charlotte! Ceremony in the sun, cocktail hour under the shade of the umbrellas, and a vegan al fresco dinner! A true garden party full of friends, art, dancing under the stars, and late night ramen!

Love how the colors, vibes, flowers, sun, and even the intentional blurry frames feel like an impressionist painting.

I am ✨ beyond thrilled ✨ to have my work, vision, & friends’ love story featured on the Instagram, website, and blog alongside such a talented and inclusive team of vendors! This dreamy editorial, photographed on film and digital, was inspired by old-world romance and brought to life inside a European-style wedding venue.

Every detail - from lush florals and candlelit marble floors to multiple custom lace suits and dresses - felt like a page out of a storybook. And at the heart of it all were Anna & Audrey, whose love added so much depth and soul to this shoot.

Their story began with a cute “10/10” DM to a song choice on Instagram stories, blossomed over beers and burritos, and carried through seven years of long distance, big life changes, and building a home together. Last summer, they surprised each other with double proposals - one on the Cliffs of Moher, the other at Big Ben, both with “10/10” secretly engraved in their rings.

I am so honored to help celebrate their journey and show what’s possible when love is met with inclusion and care.

Congratulations Dannica and Kenya!!!!

This surprise proposal at was beyond perfect!

The Sky Room was celebrating their grand opening and the owner, Jen, invited her friends including D+K, to dress up and celebrate. So what a perfect cover to have all your friends in black tie attire and already at a stunning location! Everything was so perfectly thought out!

Danni was so surprised when she walked out the doors and saw everyone there! She then walked down the aisle as her friends all handed her red roses as she walked towards Kenya!

We were all in tears as the violin played and the sun set behind the trees as Kenya got down on one knee, Danni said yes, and their friends cheered!

We love you Danni and Kenya!!

Engagement Photo Tips ⬇️

✨save these for later ✨

1. Coordinate your outfits around your location so they fit the vibe, vision, weather, and background
2. It’s totally ok if it’s your first time taking professional pictures - trust me! I will help with poses, prompts, and tell you what to do with your hands while also getting those candid and natural moments.
3. Feel free to bring 2 outfits to mix up the looks (one can be casual and one fancier or super trendy or just neutral or colorful!)
4. Embrace movement like spins, romantic pick ups, reading books, painting, riding bikes, frolicking, or an activity for a more storytelling documentary feel
5. Try out soft smile poses on flash (sunglasses can also help with flash) for a more editorial Vogue look inside and outside.
6. I can create a moodboard to help curate your vision and give outfit and pose inspo or feel free to trust the process and totally lean in 🥰

Fun Fact: The song on this post is an original made my friend Adreanna in these photos who’s an amazing DJ!!

Another fun fact: I listen to Victoria’s “Chill Electronic Office Playlist” on Spotify every time I send emails!

Final fun fact: There were test rocket launches the morning we were supposed to take photos. They were soooo chill about it and we waited out the tests at a coffee shop chatting away then frolicked through the dunes!

🌎 Had to share these digital and film moments for Earth Week that honor our incredible National Park system. 🌳

These talented women truly inspire me with their hustle, their love for each other and others, and their creativity. Both have several businesses that make the world a better place! Truly a JOY hanging out in White Sands National Park with y’all!!

Spanish nights editorial full of tropical touches like bougainvillea, pottery, bright colors, fruit, and of course a lace veil for all the drama!

The best part?

After the styled shoot we got to sit down at the stunning table and eat an amazing meal with friends as we listened to live Spanish guitar and watched and joined in on flamenco!

We got creative with each other then also sat in community. No work, no agenda, just friendship.

Days like that feed my artistic and ENFJ soul! Just genuine love all around all thanks to !!

Non Traditional Timeline Idea ⬇️⬇️

Downtown weddings let you have multiple locations! Durham has some amazing photogenic spots perfect for wedding day magic!

1. No getting ready photos.

2. We started the day by meeting at the for their first look and portraits for a full 45 minutes! We walked around the MCM hotel inside and out!

3. Family and friend (no official wedding party) group photos were taken at the stunning Duke Gardens!

4. Then we went to their venue, the Cookery, for their ceremony, romantic candle lit dinner you saw in my last post, and dancing!!

5. Classy Rooftop Bar like or a place with games after party! Change outfits and shoes, have a drink, and soak up the love!

I’m down for creating the perfect and custom timeline just perfect for you!
