It's been fun cooking for the Summer season. This is probably the last Grilled Flank Steak Salad (w/ Cilantro Dressing) for the season. I will say, Fall is one of my favorite seasons, especially in the kitchen. Cinnamon, apples, braised meats, slow cooked comfort meals. The temperature is shifting, leaves are turning.. it's time. Goodbye Summer, see you next year! Fall, I'm ready!

What an incredible event at ICASI yesterday! I was among "Cleveland's Top Chefs", what an honor. I served So Cal Style Pork Carnitas. A lot of hard work & sweat, but so so worth it! My culinary student assistant for the evening Ethan was a recipient of the scholarship & he showed he def deserved it! Amazing chefs, food, music, drinks & weather!

TY Sleepy Rooster for caring about making GOOD food! I was fortunate to enjoy breakfast here this weekend. I was a basic bitch & ordered "The Traditional".. 2 eggs over medium (perfectly cooked), sausage patty (yum) rye toast (more yum, best bread) & the crispiest fluffy breakfast potatoes seasoned well & just delish. Whomever is running this kitchen, hats off!! I'm coming back for more & I can't wait!
