F E A T U R E D • F R I D A Y // This week, we're throwing it back to Danielle + Sean's fabulous March soiree at the William Aiken House! Blessed with a beautiful Charleston day, the sunshine and iconic yellow of the William Aiken House perfectly complemented the whites and shades of blue throughout their wedding design. D+S are both local dentists here in the Holy City but first started their love story while in dental school in Buffalo. Vows were exchanged in a spring dream of a ceremony on the front lawn, with the ivy wall backdrop and coy pond bridge leading to the floral-draped pergola. Guests were then welcomed into cocktail hour with specialty cocktails, the Hugo Spritz and the Old Fashioned (fun fact: the bride’s dad makes maple syrup, so the Old Fashioneds included some of her dad’s signature syrup!). Guests enjoyed a plated dinner on the oyster tabby, surrounded by hydrangeas, elegant draping, and candlelight from the dusty blue chandeliers. Dinner was topped off with a coffee station and gelato bar, along with passed mini strawberry shortcake. The newlyweds + their guests then danced the night away in front of the carriage house before heading to Parcel 32 for their after party! 🥂
