Co-founders Jonathan Lewallen and Garrette Roff

Jonathan and Garrette met in college where they immediately became best friends and realized they shared a passion for excellent coffee. In 2021, after years of barista experience, they created the Lowcountry Beanery to bring the art of exceptional coffee to anyone at anytime.

Jonathan was raised in North Georgia and has a passion for the outdoors. You can find Jonathan in a kayak, on skis, or roadtripping just about anywhere.

Garrette and his wife moved to Charleston in 2020 and instantly fell in love with the surf and the marsh. When Garrette isn’t fly fishing or surfing, he’s playing with his newborn son!

Together in their free time, they can be found either drinking coffee, sending each other memes, or on the pickleball courts dueling it out.
