Courtney's entrepreneurial endeavors are deeply intertwined with her passion for community development. Recognizing the potential of Dunbar, she has made it her mission to foster a safe and thriving environment, leading her to run for Mayor in the upcoming election. For over a decade, Courtney has fearlessly confronted injustices and tirelessly worked to improve the lives of her fellow citizens.
Known for her exceptional ability to build bridges and foster unity, Courtney rallies people towards common goals that benefit the entire community. She is dedicated to uplifting and empowering children and young adults throughout the Kanawha Valley, serving as a coach for T-Ball and Basketball and as President of the Dunbar Youth Football & Cheer League.
Courtney's commitment to community extends beyond sports, as she actively participates in initiatives such as the Charleston C-Core committee and leads the fight against substance abuse and homelessness in Kanawha County. She firmly believes in providing support and resources to facilitate restoration and reunite families.
Growing up as an adoptee in Kanawha County, Courtney's experiences have shaped her understanding of the importance of family and small businesses in community building. She attributes her successes to the values instilled in her by her grandparents, who emphasized the significance of kindness and integrity in achieving personal and professional fulfillment.
