Ugh this wedding was such a good one!! I’ve always wanted to photograph a wedding in the NC mountains and boy I sure did get to this past weekend. It just so happened to be for two fantastic friends of mine too! It was so good (a tad scary, I’m afraid of heights) but so good!

was so much fun!! I challenged myself to try some different things this time, partly because I was told I could bring my camera but not go “backstage.” To which I replied, “I don’t need no stinking backstage pass.” So basically I was forced to do things a little differently. Challenge accepted. When we are challenged with something outside of what we are used to just embrace it. Use it as a tool to grow. That’s what I tried to do. Are my shots the most amazing shots ever? No. Did I have fun? Absolutely! Perhaps that’s all that matters anyway, just enjoying your craft.

Amanda and Michael had a baby during this pandemic madness and I can't imagine how crazy that had to be. I'm so lucky that these two have called on me not only to document their wedding (8 years ago!), but to also capture their adorable new family members two times now. The world needs to know about adorable little Amelia and of course Wesley!

It's been far too long since I've posted anything. During this pandemic season, I've had the pleasure of photographing a few families. I'll post them throughout the day. First up is an adorable smash cake shoot I got to do for Mandy and Brian and one-year-old Caleb. You may remember (but probably only I do) about 4 years ago (and two new logos later) I did this adorable wedding on the beach and posted this fabulous photo of a bride and groom running on the beach. Well now they have a sweet baby boy and it's always such an honor getting to go back and document a wedding couple's family. It's so hard not to post them all! Enjoy the cuteness!!
