A satin ballgown that is soft, comfy, AND has pockets!?!? “Selena Vida” by Maggie Sottero Designs has it all! Is strapless more your thing? She can do that. Want a more structured look? “Selena” is the same gown but in Mikado satin.
She’s sure to compliment even the craziest of shoe + sock combos- but that’s more of a personal preference thing. 💁🏼‍♀️

Yesterday we had the honor of being a part of something so special ❤️

Last Thursday I got an email from Macy Reagin explaining that her dog Ty’s cancer had unfortunately suddenly returned after a short period of remission. With her wedding date being this fall, it was looking unlikely that he would make it to the wedding.

She asked if it was at all possible that Ty could come with her to her dress try on so she could still get the pictures she dreamed of with him.

I knew not only would we absolutely be honored to have him, but we had to do something special to surprise them! With only 2 days notice, I asked the amazing Lea Austen Photography to come in to surprise them with professional photos to cherish forever. Crew LaLa helped us put together some toys, treats, and accessories to make the shoot extra fun! Macy’s bridal consultant Nicole Minick Castor came in to help her into the gown and supplied us with human treats and flowers.

I cannot wait to see how the photos turned out! I don’t think we could have put this together for a sweeter bride and dog- they both are so deserving of this special moment. The love and bond between them was so special to see and celebrate. Keep a look out in the fall for the pictures! 🐶

The Down with the Gown collection was born from a long-distance project between a mother in the Georgia mountains and her daughter in Charleston. Our hope is to bring brides and their loved ones the joy and connection these products bring us!

The collection features a sweet, fresh, and airy gardenia scent. Perfectly bridal without being overly floral and stuffy. Each candle is 14 oz of hand-poured, soy wax. The goat-milk soap is naturally moisturizing and cleanses without any harsh chemicals.
