Curious what our calendar looks like for the rest of the year? Here you go!! If you're considering us as your florist and have not reached out yet, definitely shoot us a message! We have multiple dates with active inquiries with proposals out, so if those are your dates be sure to get contracts signed and retainers paid, your date is not confirmed unless those things happen!

Ok first round is complete, I've posted the average on each photo but wanted to provide some more info for context. We took answers from 8 different florists across the Charleston area, all different experience levels, all different flower sources, all different overhead costs... please bare in mind all florists are going to include hardgood supplies, in this case chicken wire, oasis, zip ties, wire, fishing line, etc.

For each one I am also including the lowest cost submitted and the highest for transparency!!!

A. $761.25
This design has a decent bit of green space (foliage) which is technically cheaper than flowers... most of the time, however it is not free! Some designers like to forage and even I will a little bit for certain things but let's be real, I'm avoiding the snakes, spiders, and gators! 😂😂😂
lowest- $500, highest - $1250

B. $1,701.87
This design is definitely more dense down the center line but also still has a good bit of smilax foliage to help with size and proportions.
Lowest - $1,105, highest - $2,000(4 of the 8 were in agreement on this pricepoint)

C. $4,353.75
Whoooo momma that's a lot of flowers and verrrrry little foliage!!! That also means a good bit more labor involved and therefor a higher pricepoint.
Lowest - $2,000, highest - $7,800 (4 of the 8 were in the same viscinity of $4,500-5,000)

Have you ever wondered what florals should really cost?

Are you a bride looking on Pinterest, falling in love with florals and not knowing how many flowers or how much labor goes into it? Or thought "ugh there's got to be a wedding tax, how could they charge this much?"

Are you a newer planner who doesn't have a bunch of floral knowledge and needs help with guiding your clients to find florals they love but giving them realistic expectations so they don't end up wildly disappointed when proposals come back?

Well, we are starting a new series here so follow along!!! We have reached out to a number of florists across the Charleston area with different experience levels, different overhead costs, different wholesale providers, etc. to get their starting prices on popular wedding floral items and installations. We are providing them with photos of a small/minimal, medium, and ornate version of each item, they tell us how much they would start each at, anonymously, and we are averaging it all out to give you an unbiased view of what average floral costs are across the tri-county area.
