So long overdue post! As part of our meet the team series I want to start highlighting the people that make Tupelo Honey Flower Shop & Co. the floral design team it is. So first up, everyone Meet Derek! There's no more fitting way to start off than by introducing Derek on our 10th Wedding Anniversary! Derek helps with all our major event set-ups and installations. Most of you probably recognize him from on site at wedding set-ups - usually hanging smilax. Behind the scenes he builds all our structures for ceremony and hanging installations and in general keeps me sane. Tupelo Honey Flower Shop & Co. would probably still be a pipe dream if it wasn't for Derek and all his support, pushing me to pursue my dream. I know everyone on the team is so thankful for him (especially me) and everything he does! Happy Anniversary!!

We’ve been busy behind the scenes working on proposals, scheduling design meetings, and prepping for the season ahead. We’ll be taking some vacation time away this coming week. I’m currently working on knocking out some proposals before we go on vacation so if you are waiting on an email from me check your inbox in the coming days. That being said we we will be officially out of office from January 21st-January 30th. Our retail shop will be closed and we’ll be back open 1/31.

Thank you to all our clients and vendors who entrusted us to design beautiful events this past year, we appreciate each and every one of you and getting to to what we love each and every day. I am going into the holidays with a grateful heart for my team and our wonderful customers. I hope you have a restful, joyful holiday with friends and loved ones. We’ll be out of the office to enjoy some time off with our family. We’ll be back in the Studio on 12/27 to cap off our year with two beautiful events!

I haven’t posted in a while… because we’ve been pretty busy with our fall event schedule. As we start to slow down for the holiday season I thought it was about time for an introduction again for all of you new followers out there. I’m Lauren the Owner and Lead Designer of Tupelo Honey Flower Shop & Co. This little biz of mine is a labor of love and I put my heart and soul into everything we do. We have a lot of new followers to our page! As you can see we specialize in weddings and events but we also have a floral and gift shop. For the latest store updates follow our Shop account . For wedding content you’re in the right place. Our shop is open Wednesday-Saturday 10:00-4:30 pm and Sunday from 10:00-2:00 pm. We have a flower bar in store, flower arrangements and lots of gifts and home items. An ultra-romantic garden daydream turned reality amidst the historic courtyards of William Aiken House. It’s hard to choose a favorite design element between the hundreds of floating butterflies, canopies of cascading florals, colorful archways, and showstopping guest experiences like an ice sculpture greeting guests with champagne or butterfly es**rt cards.

One of my favorite parts of the design process is getting to meet and interact with the couple during the design meeting, I get to see how they interact together, their personalities, their thoughts and design choices. It helps dictate some of the choices I make when putting together the floral design. From incorporating significant flowers the were important to the groom’s mother or making sure we make an impact at the head table.
