I love being a mom.... referred to "second shift" around the office, and worth every extra step. Looking back, I don't know how my mother did it.

We had the best time celebrating this amazing family and their milestone birthdays and anniversaries (we did their wedding 15 years ago).
For design and detail inspiration we incorporated some of their favorite things. Including a champagne hut for the mother and daughter, and an appearance from the King himself for the birthday boy.
We even printed some of the mothers paintings onto fabric used to line the tent ceiling!
In the living lettuce wall at the salad station by was a pretty and delicious backdrop.

You would never know it from these pictures, but we transformed Union station in Kansas City for our bride to make even the acoustics dreamy.
We added carpet and air conditioning, built a tent in a building, and a little fabric for the curtains.
