We have been spent the last few weeks visiting vineyards, wineries, farms, cooking with locals and taking olive oil and wine classes. We are so excited to share new recipes and dining experiences with all of you this Summer and Fall! Earlier this month, I had the opportunity to spend time sharing what life and business looks like as a personal chef with the culinary students
Alongside and we talked about the business side of each of the industry, how to stay relevant and up to date in current culinary trends, the great experiences we have had along the way and lessons learned the hard way. We heard a lot of great questions and were able to connect with students during this time. Big thanks to .light.boricua for coordinating this great event!

What better way to enjoy the cooler weather than with a bowl of fish and grits?! stone ground grits with garlic tomato confit and seared Mahi-Mahi. It’s a simple dish that packs a punch with flavor! Toasting the grits in well salted bacon fat and finishing with cream and extra sharp cheddar makes them super creamy and delicious!😍 A few shrimp on top for our shrimp lovers!

Thankful for and proud of doesn’t begin to describe how Chef Alex and I feel about these young ladies! We’ve had the pleasure of working with .till while they were attending
We are thankful they chose to be part of The Carolina Chef team and so proud of each of these young chefs! We took a night off to celebrate their graduation and enjoy a lovely dinner
We can’t wait to see where their careers take them in future! Our hearts are filled with gratitude for these bright, hardworking, talented young ladies!
You’ll be seeing their faces in the kitchen with us as we head into Summer!
