Kindness is underrated. Loving people is the most valuable thing we can do in life. And while we can easily get caught up in the busyness of life, it’s important to remember that tasks, while needing to be done, cannot possibly compare in value to the love and kindness we are called to show others who are made in God’s image. It’s His highest calling of us, to love. His most important commandment is to love.

Sometimes it’s through experiencing people’s cruelty that we can learn to value love all the more. But most of the times it’s through the foundation of love, that we learn to give more love. For this reason, I implore all parents reading this…Love your children! Teach them kindness. Teach them tenderness. Teach them compassion and care. You’re raising the next generation and they will love as they were loved. how many lives will be impacted by how you treat them day in and day out. It’s perhaps the most important job on earth, to be a parent, and to love well. The pain of the lack of love can result in more pain than you can imagine. But a person who is loved…will lead a life that will surely love others well.
