Many thanks to the King and his very kind Court for hosting me at the feast and joust today. Special appreciation goes to the Lord High Sheriff (pictured here with me) for escorting me safely through the castle and around the grounds. If you haven’t visited Birdsell Castle for the Southern Indiana Renaissance Fair, be sure to give it a go! The best part? This festival coincides with a large one in Ohio and a cast member told me he chooses to come here because “the people are just so nice!”
