Welcome to our second season of officially opening up our cut flower gardens to the community.
These photos are the inspiration to turn my passion for growing flowers into a u pick flower farm. Thank you,
I was on a dōTERRA business trip down in North Carolina, teaching about plant medicine and was told multiple times that I HAD visit the flower farm to pick flowers before I flew back to VT.
What I saw there changed me. Everyone was happy around the flowers. The flowers were bringing JOY to all.
By the grace of God and a fun-loving and hard-working husband, together we became Glory Flower Farm!
It’s been an interesting summer in Vermont with historic flooding and never ending rain. U pick farmers are noticing a lot of fruit and flowers still left and ready to be picked.
I choose to be in the moment and make it a great day, no matter the weather. And I’m human and I’ve been looking at the weather this week… And guys, take this as your sign to come pick flowers TODAY! It might be your only sunny day all week. Invite a friend. Go outside and pick something! blueberries have been feeding us for weeks, it’s an activity that gets us out and makes us feel at peace. I wish that for all of you. ✌🏻

Feeling melancholy over here as so many Vermont friends are suffering huge losses.
Since we are inviting you to pick flowers today, we’d like to donate our proceeds towards relief funding to hopefully lighten the load for someone.

I can’t even begin to describe the beautiful littles here and Jenn Adams captured them so well.
Then the rain. Our tent got crushed. It’s always held up fine for the season. We could have put it away and didn’t think of it, so it’s on us. Thinking of everyone who is dealing with being relocated and flood damage.
Hoping the sunshine dries everything up. The flowers won’t need a drink for awhile.

Did you know we named our farm after my mom? She’s Gloria. So was her mom and so am I!
It always throws parents off when birth certificates of their baby have Gloria Christina listed as the midwife. That’s me!
The flowers are growing so beautifully. We are visiting my mom in WI right now.

May was intense. All of the planting got done. ✅
Sometimes it was a 5am rally to make it happen.
Our goal was to be finished by June with getting all of our seedlings in the ground.
Whew! That was a lot.
Still in the heavy labor process of getting everything planted over here. 😅
Excited about this next phase of welcoming guests in a month!

We worked so hard to get our cold loving seedlings that we started early March in our basement into the ground before the rain.
When the rain kept coming and kept coming, and they were sitting in pools of water, I had my moment of wondering if they would be OK?
Celebrating over here now as the sun is full on!

Taking time away from home to connect and have fun as a family.
Seedlings are growing well and our housesitter is not only caring for the animals- seedlings too!
Life will be full swing when we return home- more seeding, new chiropractic office opened, accepting midwife clients, laying a heated floor and bricks in our mud room, plus kids and animals!
For now, we are picnicking daily and then off to dōTERRA’s leadership retreat in Orlando this week.
Grateful for adventures and time in nature together.

My favorite is the knife he always has with him. You can see it on his pocket. Did you know he’s an EAGLE SCOUT? Just saying. 🤓💪🏻
He’s been so good to me. The flower farm was my crazy idea and he just ran with it, helping out wherever needed. Turns out I needed *a lot* of help.
If he’s not flower farming or building our home, he’s helping people with their wellness journey. He just opened Healing Point Chiropractic in South Burlington and is accepting new patients. Yes, you read that right. It’s big news- he’s amazing. 🙌🏻
I’m grateful for the highs, lows and in between.
Did you know he wanted me to not use any landscape fabric and only wanted the “no till” method? Which is all great if you have lots of time to prep and we didn’t. I cried. We did not see eye to eye. I only share this to keep it real here. Conflicts help us grow. It ain’t easy. We ended up with landscape fabric and it saved us hours of weeding. 😉
The best part about marriage is love expands and I am so thankful for where we are right now. Relationships take work and I’m here for it.
