1. What are your event and guest needs?
What is needed for your event, and does your venue already include those things in your rental price? Tables, chairs, staging, projector, microphone, audio/video linens, etc. Do you need a main event space, and smaller rooms for dressing or a work area? Do you need a reception space, cocktail area, or a place for refreshments after your event?
2. Whatâs the best location for your event?
If you will have guests flying in, it could be beneficial to have your event at a venue that's near the airport or near hotels and restaurants.
3. Can you bring in vendors and catering, or you must use the venue vendors? If so, what is needed from them? Liability insurance certificates, catering licenses, etc.
