I’ve been feeling so stuck as I continue to watch the devastation unfold across the East Coast and especially in Florida and Western North Carolina. Just a few weeks ago, we were all gathered at the first WIPA NC Gala, celebrating our industry, our achievements, and this incredible state that we are lucky to call home. Now, many of us are waiting anxiously to hear from loved ones, wondering if friends and family are safe. It’s a hard shift, from a moment of joy to one of uncertainty and heartbreak.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​For those affected, know that I am here, ready to help however I can. If your wedding plans have been disrupted, if you need help finding new venues, reworking details, or simply a listening ear, please let me know. In times like these, our community must come together. We’ve built relationships as vendors, and now, more than ever, we need to lean on each other. Let’s do what we can to keep each other supported during this difficult time.

We were celebrating what seemed like days ago, but for the past few weeks we’ve been reminded how quickly things can change. My heart is with everyone impacted, and I’ll continue to be here for anyone who needs a helping hand in the days ahead. Stay safe. 💚

Throwing it back to Grey Oaks Country Club's unforgettable 30th anniversary celebration that we had the honor of planning and designing. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​The Studio 54-inspired soirée transformed the clubhouse with custom draping, chandelier shades, signage, logos, and linens - creating a vibrant, immersive experience.

Massive floral installations, VIP lounges, and specialty entertainment set the stage for a night to remember, while an LED dance floor kept the party going.

As members entered through a "paparazzi" lined entrance, the excitement was palpable. Being a part of this milestone event was an incredible privilege, and we absolutely loved bringing this vision to life!

Catherine + Christian.... the day is almost here!​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Heading into your wedding weekend feels quite surreal. The time we've shared planning your special day has been so enjoyable. We've laughed, cried (happy tears only!) and sang Taylor Swift more times on zoom than I'd like to admit.

SWIPE TO SEE THE BEFORE ⏪

Why does it always cost more than you think? They made it look easy on Pinterest, right? 🤷🏼‍♀️

🌷Costs of florals have been rising for YEARS - meaning your chosen vendor has to pay something crazy like $6 for a SINGLE Rose stem.

🌷After creating custom recipes for your order, your florist has to then tactically schedule their delivery, store them in the biggest cooler they can find, strip, prep and hydrate them so they they’re ready to be used (wait.. you thought flowers just showed up ready to be put into your centerpieces?!)

🌷Did we mention that they have to pay to store all of their coolers, tools, inventory, while continuously investing in new vases, candles, arches, pedestals (the list goes on…)

🌷The labor is takes to create your centerpieces is crazy! When we say ALL HANDS IN DECK, we mean it. With Pinterest and floral design getting bigger and bolder, it takes strategy and hard work to get floral installed in creative and unique places with a reliable team.

🌷I know we already mentioned labor BUT - who do you think comes back to your venue at midnight to tear everything down? The hours they spend putting everything together, takes just as long as tear down.

🌷 oh, and lastly - FLORISTS ARE MAGICIANS. Their craft is beautiful and it’s WAY harder than it seems.

So next time you receive your custom proposal… you’ll know how much goes into building your dream wedding day. 💪🏼

PSA: book the engagement session with your wedding photographer!

Not only do you get the cutest photos to keep, but it gives you a chance to meet your photographer prior to your wedding and really feel comfortable around them. It’s a win-win.

Plus… who wouldn’t want to spend their day with ???

Hello, party people!

The beginning of the week is always the most productive for me… I actually LOVE Monday’s. By the time the weekend arrives, we’re usually deep in “EXECUTE MODE” which means all of our consultation calls and admin work is knocked out, and we can prioritize our couples. Sticking to a schedule is sooo important for us to be successful and punctual in everything we do.

Speaking of sticking to schedules - who else is a master list maker? I literally wouldn’t survive without my giant calendar and To-Do list!
