Established in 1968, Pine Island Country Club has provided a comfortable and scenic environment for play on and off the course. Its our goal to provide members and their guests the best-conditioned golf course, the finest facilities and amenities and the friendliest services of any private country club in the greater Charlotte area. Inspired by the rolling piece of farmland, architect C

harles M. Mahannah created a magnificent course every golfer would enjoy. Dissected by a rambling stream known as "Long Creek", the landscape is populated with graceful hardwoods and aged pines. It provides a tranquil, forested setting for players to relax and enjoy a great round of golf. In 2006 the course was transformed by a series of major renovations. Entire greens have been relocated and rebuilt. All tees and bunkers were rebuilt and four new holes constructed. These improvements have helped position Pine Island Country Club as on of the best courses in the area. Certified and approved by the U.S. Golf Association, the course remains a challenge for all levels of play. The Facilities:
Pine Island is now home to a newly constructed 25,000 square-foot clubhouse. With three levels and a natural stone façade, the new facilities offers our members a modern, elegant and warm environment for the entire fame. The main level houses a lodge area, Members' grille, Ballroom, Golf Shop, kitchen and multi-purpose room. While the second level included offices, the lower level includes a snack bar window for golfers, acess to the pool area, cart and bag storage, and both the men's and women's lounges. Seating up to 75, our Member Grille included a small veranda, full bar and surplus of atmosphere. From a casual lunch with friends to a quiet dinner, our highly trained, professional staff provides quality service for you and your guests. Our chefs continually strive to offer the freshest, finest cuisine to ensure an excellent dinning experience each visit.
