💦☀️ What a fantastic day at Dorothy J. Vaughn Academy of Technology! ☀️💦

With the sun blazing and temperatures soaring, our Water Day couldn’t have come at a better time! The students had an absolute blast staying cool with splashes, sprays, and squeals of joy all afternoon! 😄🚒💧

The highlight? Watching Taylor from the Fantastic Fire Dept teach our kids about the fire truck and how to use the BIG hose! 💦👩‍🚒 They were completely captivated—and LOVED getting hands-on!

As an administrator, I can’t recommend this experience highly enough. Educational ✅, engaging ✅, and SO much fun ✅. If you’re looking to bring smiles (and science!) to your students, this is the way to do it.

☀️🚒 A joyful afternoon at the Picnic in the Park! 🚒☀️

We had the BEST time with the wonderful families of First Presbyterian Church of Charlotte! From wide-eyed little explorers climbing into the fire truck 👩🏽‍🚒👨🏼‍🚒 to giggling toddlers spraying the big hose 💦—it was pure joy all around! 😄

Parents beamed as their little ones lit up with excitement—and honestly, so did we! 💛🙌 It’s moments like these that remind us why we do what we do. Thank you, First Presbyterian, for letting us be part of your special day!
