Client booked me 2 days prior to the event. OMG!!! This is the first time I’ve had someone book so late. Everything that could have gone wrong went wrong. We arrived late to setup. Due to truck and rental pickup being delayed. We were able to complete the setup before the event started. This backdrop🤬 I didn’t open it until we arrived, didn’t really expect it just wanted to get it up and complete the services for client. I leave and the text came in. The backdrop and the flowers. I had to go home and come up with something quick. Client is 1 hour away from me. Well thank god I had a backup. I Go back out setup the new one. Took out the hydrangeas and replaced with new flowers. I learned some very valuable lessons this weekend. As an event planner I like sure it all the good and bad. This is the first time I’ve ever had a client upset with my services. I made sure to resolve and correct everything. Thanks to all of you that support and trust us with your special day!!!!
