Where has she been? Why no posts?

Well guys, I’m happy to announce in September my husband and I welcomed our 2nd child. 😊 We are great, but Mommy mode is in full effect. So, I will be taking a maternity leave and then back to the baking in January 2024.

I want to thank you for your patience and understanding as I take this time to enjoy these precious moments with my family.

I will be posting a few things here and there, as I’m still in the lab working on new recipes to add to the menu.

This is the result of artistic freedom. I know my fellow cake bakers will agree, when the client says, “Do you,” it just lifts the restrictions and allows the creativity to flow.

Derrick and Jasmine wed yesterday XI.XI.XXII with the theme, “Under the Stars.” I had to give them a cake that would fit this super romantic and galactic theme. Voila!

Now, I have created a ton of milestone birthday cakes. 21, 30, 50, even 70. But…This weekend I got to create a very memorable cake for my very own Grandmother in honor of her 90th Birthday! That’s right y’all 90 years walking this earth.
