We are okay. Our team is okay and our couples are okay. Check ins are happening with vendor teams across the Carolinas. Most of the mountains, though, are not okay. In our beloved Appalachia, there is loss and suffering, everywhere you look. Families are separated, grieving loved ones and pets, managing the loss of their treasures and homes the best they can. Businesses are devastated, bank accounts drained and dreams needing to be redone. The mountains so many people, our couples and vendors, call home, are mourning.

So much coexists at once. We’re thrilled for our couples who just got married and got their sneak peek galleries back, or for the couples who get married in a few weeks after planning for a year. We’re relieved that the vendors we’ve reached out to are able to respond and have hope to rebuild. But we know we’re in bubble. We know check in emails wouldn’t mean anything to most people recovering from the storm, and we’re so sorry. We don’t know how to balance these feelings of joy and celebration among so much devastation and loss, and we’re trying.

We will keep posting reputable resources as we find them, and we will continue to donate and support as best we can, as often as we can. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us if you’re in need of specific items, or if you have a go fund me to share, or if you know of a family in need - share with us.

Katelyn & Austin got married on a quaint, quiet farm on the outskirts of the city with pops of lavender and sage green. We joked at this wedding we didn’t need a high school reunion, since we were all in the same place for Katelyn & Austin 🤪 These two are such special people. So sweet and adoring to each other and their families. Don’t get me started on their parents - four of the best to ever do it. We wish we could relive this day over and over again!
