This special venue was tucked away in the heart of Fayetteville. We got to DJ for our close friend’s daughter who we met nearly 16 years ago! It’s amazing to experience the growth, maturity and love they found in each other. My favorite quote was from the maid of honor. She said, “Somedays, each person in the relationship will be able to give 50/50. Other times, it may be 80/20, but remember that person is still trying…20% may be all they can do in that moment.” I felt that!

Stunning views for this beautiful wedding on family property in Denver, NC! A good time was had by all! We worked with two amazing vendors, Emily and Kevin, who were married and provided officiant and videography services!

For this ten year celebration of our wedding… I want to talk to you about tinnitus. It is constant; even when I sleep. A constant permanent reminder that you are going to have to repeat things MULTIPLE times in the failing hope that I’m going to actually hear what you have to say. A high screech pinging noise of torture. One of the worse parts of my day…

And for ten years, with a touch… you silence it all. The cacophony of chaos that I hear on an eternal basis… you have the power to shut it down. I am indebted to this kindness. On this feat alone, I could love you forever.

But for ten years, you have quieted so many dragons of my life… that, or given me the strength to fight my own demons. Depression, poverty, occupational stress, disability… so many battles we have overcame… and like Morpheus told Zion… WE ARE STILL HERE!

I am nothing without you and I pray that if the world was to end right now, with you, I could die with a smile on my face. You are my heaven on earth, and I know I have done nothing to deserve you. So I’m going to love you like eternity is knocking on our door.

There are no words that exist to describe the depths I have and for 10 years, my I have failed in my pursuit of definition of it. But I will never fail in showing you all the love and affection you deserve.

Once a year, we select an organization/cause to donate our DJ services. The past two years have been a challenge, a stretch, an abundance of love, countless laughter, tears, happiness, frustrations, gratitude and humbleness.

Organizations like Congregations for Kids (CFK) come along side to encourage foster families and build them up in both practical and supernatural ways! They just know the right time to reach out and extend a helping hand. Today, they celebrated social workers and the exhausting hours and demands they face to continuously operate in the best interest of the children in care.

Today was our day to give back! On the behalf of CFK, we celebrated our Social Workers in Charlotte-Mecklenburg County with a drive-thru of love and gratitude. Fun was had by all. Brian even “assisted” people out of their cars for line dances. Lol

We used our gifts and talents to be a blessing to others. Our hearts are full! 💕
