Before I show off the rest of the amazing photos of this wedding, I just really want the personality of this couple to shine through.

First off, one of the shuttles had broken down which made guests arrive about 15 minutes late. While this was going on, Mackenzie had her feet up with her dog on her lap as cool as a cucumber. Second, she tore her MCL during her first dance! Mackenzie was still killing it on the dance floor still waving her crutches in the air and playing limbo with her guests.

I believe this all comes down to the unbelievably safe and fun love Mackenzie and Zach have for each other. This is the day they get to marry, for the second time, their best friend! Life was good and sweet! 😎

Thank you Mackenzie and Zach for being an absolute dream to work with!

What’s the first thing you do when you get engaged!?! One of the first things is either to pick your venue and buy your dress, or buy your dress and pick your venue? Why? Because these are big things that set the stage for the overall vibe and design of your wedding. Would you wear a sundress to a 5 star restaurant? Well maybe….but would it flow? Maybe not!

What I hear the most from brides is that they went with a dress that they wouldn’t have even considered. Try on all the dresses! See what fits you, and that is a huge part of creating the epic design of your wedding 🤍✨

Unpopular Opinion:

As a Wedding Planner I am not a huge fan of “Fads” anymore. The ins and outs of the wedding world. Let me tell you why, and I did this with my own wedding, when you look back at your wedding you want to say wow our wedding completely matched us and our personality. Don’t alter your vision because that design may not be as popular anymore.

For example, bows and pearls and that “Old Money” look is becoming popular, if that matches you, than hell yeah go for it, but if not don’t push it. I am a strong advocate for a personalized vision and design.

This is one of my favorite things we did this past wedding season! Alyssa and Joey wanted to eat before their reception began so we coordinated with the catering team and set up an intimate table setting with music so they could fully take in their wedding day without any interruptions. The day goes by so quickly so if you have the chance to take in 20 minutes alone together, take full advantage of it!

This will be my last post of 2023! This week will be filled Christmas shenanigans with this little ones, experiencing the baby’s first Christmas, and just so much love and family time! Wishing you all a happy holidays with peace and warmth into the new year!

Skyler and Nick booked my Full Planning Package and this is what can come of it if you take full advantage of it. Picking the right vendors can really alter your wedding experience. I say it a lot with my couples and I will say it a million times over, connection with your vendors is important. Someone who can understand the depths of you individually and as a whole. This is not just another event, it’s a lifetime experience.

Hey guys! It’s been a minute since a introduced myself and last time is when I was prego! Well I’ve had my baby boy and I’m ready to reintroduce myself!

My name is Carley, Owner and Wedding Planner of Honey I Do Wedding Creations! My business started two years ago but I have been in the event industry for 10 years! What sets me apart from other wedding planners? Well I have a culinary, baking and hospitality background. I have worked back of the house as a chef and pastry chef, and have worked front of the house as a F&B and Event Manager. So I can relate to a big part of your vendors!

My business model is very family oriented. I love to be that person you can lean on whether it’s 9pm or 7am, it makes me heart happy to be there for you!

1. Paddle boarding and yoga are my go to stress relievers.

2. I’m on a goal to hike all the US National Parks.

3. I’m a mom of now two incredible tiny humans

4. My favorite thing to cook is stuffed flank steak with lemon basil risotto, and asparagus, my favorite thing to bake is bread but my favorite lab in college was cake decorating 🙌🏼

If you’re wondering whether your wedding will be “too simple” it’s won’t be. Your day tells the story you want it to. If you are not someone who loves a lot of sparkle, don’t add it. DO NOT WORRY ABOUT PLEASING ANYONE BUT YOU AND YOUR FIANCÉ! Your wedding is meant to reflect you both as a couple, not anyone else.

My baby boy is now almost 2 weeks old and the mom hormones are hitting hard. Normally I post about the couple and their wedding decor, but the real and rawness of a Moms love when her child gets married, should not be overlooked. Find your peace. Find work in your life that lights your soul and burns that fire inside of you. Find flow in what you do. Flow is a state of being when we are completely focused, and fully immersed in what we are doing. In flow our work seems effortless, creativity goes into overdrive, we feel inspired, and motivation springs forth from within.

The amount of joy I take in being a Wedding Planner is immense. Joy from being that calming point in a couples life so they can fully take in such a big day in their lives. Joy in being that guiding light in a beautiful memory 🤍
