Strawberry Bliss Pound Cake 🍰🍓

Ingredients:🍓

1 cup unsalted butter, softened
3 cups granulated sugar
5 large eggs
3 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup buttermilk
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 teaspoon almond extract
1 1/2 cups fresh strawberries, finely chopped
Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

Directions:🍓

Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C). Grease and flour a 10-inch bundt pan.
In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture alternately with buttermilk, starting and ending with the flour mixture. Stir in vanilla and almond extracts.
Gently fold in the chopped strawberries.
Pour batter into prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
Bake for 70-80 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let cool in the pan for 20 minutes, then invert onto a wire rack to cool completely. Dust with powdered sugar before serving, if desired.

"I was at Wendy's recently, I heard him ask for his senior discount. The girl at the register apologized and charged him less. When I asked the man what the discount was, he told me that seniors over age 55 ...get 10% off everything on the menu, every day. (But you need to ASK for your discount.)
This incident prompted me to do some research, and I came across a list of restaurants, supermarkets, department stores, travel deals and other types of offers giving various discounts with different age requirements. I was actually surprised to see how many there are and howsome of them start at the young age of 50 .
