Carriage House magic! Every single detail of this reception design was so thoughtfully chosen and carefully curated, and it came together so exquisitely for the most amazing couple & their guests!

From the greenery chandelier centered over the dance floor to the abundant colorful taper candles to the stunning floral arrangements to touches of organic greenery to the velvet linens to the place settings & menu cards to the chandeliers overhead… there are so many intricate details and larger installations that meld to become one marvelous and gorgeous celebration!

Now that’s a wedding party of epic proportions! Gracie and Andrew’s love for their people is so apparent, and they are clearly so loved and cherished in return. Gracie and Andrew chose to have so many of their closest friends by their side on their wedding day: their bridesmaids, groomsmen, honorary bridesmaids, and ushers. After spending several days in the company of their wedding party during our time at the coast, I can attest to the pure love, joy, and excitement that Gracie and Andrew’s friends have for them, and it was incredible to witness. These are the most wonderful friends — selfless, fun, helpful, gracious, generous, thoughtful, excitable, sweet, and so loving. They surrounded Gracie and Andrew in so much joy, so many happy dances, so much prayer, the sweetest toasts, and so much pure joy all weekend long.

I also loved the fashion of the day! Andrew wore a white dinner jacket to complement his groomsmen’s black tuxedos, which was the most dapper selection for a coastal summertime wedding and set him apart as the groom. Gracie’s bridesmaids all wore matching ice blue gowns with a statement relaxed bow on one shoulder, while her honorary bridesmaids wore blue and white floral gowns of their choosing. And all together, it was blue & white heaven and just so utterly perfect and cohesive with the wedding design. Beautiful in every way!!

Happy, happy first anniversary, Gracie & Andrew!! These two lovebirds are celebrating their first anniversary today, and I still can’t believe it’s already been a year since their unforgettable, joyful, love-filled, & stunning wedding day at the coast! Endless congrats on your first year of marriage, Mr. and Mrs. Mauney — it sure is easy celebrating you two and your love!

Seven years ago today, and this first look gets me every single time I think about it! It never gets old, and it’s such an intimate, special moment full of so much anticipation, nerves, excitement, and love. I remember Shelby & TJ’s first look so vividly, and there wasn’t a dry eye underneath those magnificent live oak trees. Their happiness & raw emotions overflowed!! Happy 7th anniversary Shelby & TJ!

When building a reception tent from the ground up, you can really do anything with the design of the tent! The waterfront setting was an idyllic backdrop, and a white tent was the only way to go in the heat of June at the coast. The lawn was pristine and expansive, and we added a romantic white liner, draping, and then went to work creating the most beautiful, thoughtful, and fresh design inside the tent with ample space for movement of their 350 guests, along with the focal dance floor & bar.

The focal oval bar in the tent was grand and beautiful with statement tall floral arrangements in each corner, rattan chandeliers and a chandelier of greenery above the bar, white shelves with blue glassware, powder blue & white floral decals for the bar fronts, signage in rattan frames, custom cocktail napkins and drink stirrers, and all the fresh and fun design elements at the bar.

Happy, happy 43rd anniversary to my incredible parents!!! Forty three years! Their marriage and obvious love for one another (and everyone around them) is deeply inspiring and beautiful, and they have given us such a strong example to look up to and learn from. Their steadfast commitment, perspective and outlook on life, penchant for laughter and humor, wisdom and patience, constant support and encouragement, and unconditional love are simply incredible.

My mom and dad are high school sweethearts, went to college together, were married weeks after graduation, became the world’s best parents (truly) a few years later, now have the world’s cutest grandsons, and are now celebrating their forty-third anniversary with a whole lot of beautiful life lived and shared together - and so much more to come. We are so, so, so grateful for our family and for these two who cultivated so much love.

Marriage, while it can have harder moments or seasons, is simply the best, and we admire theirs a ton! And witnessing my mom and dad’s legacy in their strong marriage is the heartbeat behind why I love weddings so much. They’re the start of a lifetime commitment, unconditional love, and world-changing marriages!

Seriously, aren’t they the cutest?! Love you forever, Mom and Dad! Congrats on FORTY THREE years, and thanks for being such a beautiful inspiration for all of us!!
