The most authentic love celebrated at the bride’s childhood home with a brunch time wedding. Every detail was so sweet, including the homemade macaroons made by the bride’s grandmother that were perfectly matched to her color palette.

The florals were lush and romantic, full of soft hues and textures that complimented the most gorgeous day.

If I could give one piece of advice to couples, it would be to be as PRESENT and FLEXIBLE as you can be.

You will tirelessly plan for months, and will think about every detail, but even with the best vendor team, things will come up. Things like ceremony changes due to weather happen, and the best thing you can do is remember that at the end of the day, you’ll be just as married.

As a spring bride in 2024, I personally had to move my ceremony indoors to avoid those classic, Carolina afternoon thunderstorms. And if I’m being honest? I loved it so much more the way it happened. The florals came together, everyone was in their place, and we still had the best day ever.

That being said, my next best advice would be hire vendors you TRUST to make inevitable hiccups invisible to you on your special day.
