ABOUT THE OWNERS:
Chubby has been providing karaoke entertainment to the Charlotte market since 1989. Prior to the start of Chubby’s Karaoke, he was a mobile DJ in the Charlotte area for 8 years (and yes, he is also a degreed accountant). From November of 1994 through January of 1997 Chubby was the CDG Product Line Manager for Sound Choice. During his tenure there, he was responsible for the desi
gning, marketing and advertising of the Spotlight Series and Foundation/Brick Series. During this time, Sound Choice became the leading U.S. karaoke song manufacturer for the professional market. Chubby continues to actively run weekly karaoke shows. Trinity has been involved in the karaoke industry since 1990, publishing the very successful national Karaoke & DJ USA magazine through 1998. She came to Charlotte in 1997 to help Chubby expand his Charlotte area mobile karaoke business. In late 2002, Chubby and Trinity expanded their karaoke company to Cancun, Mexico. During her time in Cancun, Trinity ran the Special Events department for a 5 location resort. In addition, she was promoted to Manager of the Royal Channel, an in-house resort TV station where she was responsible for developing programming and was their on screen personality. In late 2013, Trinity began working in the independent film market along with producing commercials and providing voice overs for various projects. She now resides in southern California. Chubby continues to live in Cancun, where he leads the weekly international karaoke party.
