Last fall, one of our student interns shared with us that she loved all the projects and events we had her working on. She said she never thought she would be able to find a job that allowed her to use both her analytical and creative sides. This made our hearts happy! At Style Perfect Events, it’s all about strategic planning. From a photo activation to a multi-day conference, each event is designed with a purpose and goal in mind for our client partners. We ask a lot of questions and dig deep with our partners to ensure a meaningful event experience.

Engaging entertainment isn’t just about enjoyment—it’s a CataLysT for social change! 💃🏽 Producing the musical performance for our client partner’s fundraising event was a highlight for our team. ✨ From rehearsal to showtime we carefully curated a delightful mash up of African and Brazilian rhythms with community partners to kick off the event and showcase one of the organization’s focus of expanding community connection through history.

Happy Friday! Carla here, owner of . 👋🏾 We have quite a few new followers, so let’s do a , but first thank you so much for giving us a follow. It means so much to us that you want to follow us. We’re a bit of an IG outlier 😎 in these internet streets and don’t post daily, but we do love to share with you monthly on what’s inspiring our event designs and projects.

I started Style Perfect Events in 2009 and have created an amazing community of creative partners, clients and friends and we produce some pretty dope events!

When I’m not strategizing event plans and designs for our corporate and wedding clients you can find me spending time with my husband (Landon) and two young daughters (Naomi and Ruby). 👨‍👩‍👧‍👧

On non-event weekends I love orchestrating porch sips and gatherings for my neighbors and friends. 🍹

Community building through events is my passion. I love to bring people together through curated events that inspire, celebrate, and foster strong relationships.

I can’t believe it’s September already. Where has the summer gone? Last month our team was immersed in flowers and all things local. From site visits at the new for one of our corporate partners, to touring the family owned wedding venue and flower farm with one of our 2022 wedding couples, to kicking off our deliveries, we're going wild for all things floral. September we’re shifting gears and focusing on fall and holiday events. What’s on your agenda for September?

Day 2 of event prep begins this morning for our team or should I say day 10 for our college intern, Jasmine, who has graciously assembled 400 pinwheels for our upcoming 4th of July event with . Jasmine started her summer internship with us last month and has hit the ground running with vendor outreach, event prep work and assisting with social media management for some of our non-profit clients. We love working with college interns and each semester we are truly LUCKY to have some of the best emerging young event professionals on our team. Jasmine actually started shadowing us back in February with and we are so glad to have her on our team for the summer. Thank you, Jasmine for all of your hard work! Driving around Charlotte this time of year you will notice the delicate and beautiful cherry blossoms blooming. 🚗 If you’re dreaming about blooming branches or cherry blossoms as inspiration for your wedding day style and design, March is the perfect month to marry in Charlotte, especially at our uptown wedding venues. The streets in are lined in cherry blossoms for your formal pictures. 💕 Cherry blossoms and other blooming branches make stunning centerpieces and decor. They are in season in March, but make sure to consult with your floral designer on availability and alternative solutions. Sometimes Mother Nature has other plans on when branches will start blooming during the year. Happy Anniversary to all of our March couples! 😘 Did you get married in March?
