We are offering custom smoking services - bring us your turkeys (or anything else you’d like) and we will smoke it! Please let us know and get us your product by Sunday, November 25th. 💥What is tallow?

Tallow is rendered beef fat. Rendering fat is a process that slowly cooks the fat to evaporate the moisture to make it shelf stable. After rendering, we then purify it to make sure it is clear of any impurities.

For our hand and body balms, the tallow is whipped for a smooth texture for application. We add in only two other ingredients to the tallow: the essential oil and jojoba oil. The only exception to that is our new hand and body balm, vanilla essential oil with honey included as well. It is becoming one of our most popular whipped balms!

Do you have some meat in your freezer that you’re not quite sure what to do with? Bring it to us and we can smoke it for you! We have done brisket, pork butts, ribs, pork belly, chuck roasts, chicken, duck, goose, and more! We will even vacuum seal package it for you for easy reheating. Let us know! 🔥🪵

Much like our loved whipped tallow balms, our tallow soap includes only a small amount of simple ingredients with essential oils. We have multiple scents to choose from including unscented, lavender, lemongrass & sage, and peppermint.

Tallow is all natural and great for skin. It doesn't leave greasy residue, and is a wonderful moisturizer! We hand cut and package our soap with care to give you the best product possible.

Plan now to attend our 2nd annual Summer Family Picnic on the Lawn! Saturday July 27th from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. The event is free to everyone. We will be accepting good will donations. The Hog Roast is back along with live music by Leather & Lace 12:00 to 2:00. Snow Cones, lots of kid's games and of course Father Joe will be sitting in the dunk tank again this year helping to raise money.

We at Simply Smoked enjoy all natural and simple ingredients. That goes for our sauces as well! We are offering our recommended sauce for our Hickory Smoked Brisket and our Hickory Smoked Pulled Pork. These balsamic vinegars are great with BBQ or topping over whatever meat you want! They pair perfectly with our rich smoked meat options, bringing a sweet and slightly acidic flavor to complement.
Our three favorite pairings are listed below, but there are many other options to choose from, as well as different types of olive oils!

Hickory Smoked Balsamic Vinegar – Compliments our smoked brisket extremely well

18 Year Aged Balsamic Vinegar – Great all around for many meat options

Maple Bourbon Vinegar – Great on pulled pork and adds some maple sweetness to the pork
