Come learn about being a vet and adopt a stuffed animal!

From 10am-11am on Sunday, February 23rd, join us and our friend Dr. Anna the veterinarian for our Adopt an Animal Event! She will share what it is like to be a vet, read a book, provide a craft, and answer all your questions!

We will also have stuffed animals up for adoption at this event. Each stuffed animal adopted will donate $5 to the Carver Scott Humane Society to help real animals that are in need. A stuffed animal can be adopted for $18. Your child can then bring their newly adopted stuffed animal (or one from home!) to Dr. Anna for her to perform a check up!

This event is included in the purchase of an Open Play Pass or with a monthly membership if you have one!

My kids begged me to let them try the new Makedo Explore Kit that we just got in stock, so we brought one home to try out!
This kept my 6 year old busy FOR HOURS and my 4 year olds also thought it was really fun, although it was a little harder for them to use.

This kit includes tools to use to cut and create items out of cardboard. We have many in stock for $25+tax and they would make a great addition to your Valentine’s Day gift! Interested? Send us a message!!

February is just one day away, so that calls for a new monthly calendar!

We have a couple things to make note of this month, check them out below.

First, we will be continuing our story time and activity each Wednesday! As a reminder, this is a free event with a purchased play pass or monthly membership.

Next, our Valentine's carnival is coming up in a little over a week! We have a few spots left for this event, check it out at playdatemn.com/events

We have a lot of new faces on our social media and coming through our doors this winter, so we wanted to remind everyone of our rules and point out a few items below. ⚠😎⚠

While we are partially unstaffed, we do have staff present around 20 hours a week, and if someone isn't scheduled that day, staff comes in throughout the day to clean and sanitize the space and the toys! We take great pride in our process of keeping toys clean as well as our space. We do request that parents and caregivers help clean up after their children. This helps us as well as our next friends who come to play!

Our space has two diaper changing tables (one in each restroom area). Please never change a diaper in our play spaces!☣️☣️☣️

Lastly, please remember that if your child gets sick, please keep them home. You can always emails us and we can change your play date. 😊

Celebrate Valentine's Day with us this year at our Valentine's Carnival! 💘

This event will have two very special dog sister guests that you and your kids will have the opportunity to meet and take pictures 📸 with as well as play carnival games, make a Valentine's card 💌, sip some hot chocolate, and open play time of course!

This event is $25 per child, and members will enjoy a discount, with tickets just $10 per child! Codes have been sent, so if you have not received it or are a new member, let us know!

Play Date now has helium balloons for order!

Choose from three different balloon bouquets to gift to your Valentine this year!

Each balloon bouquet is available for pickup at Play Date OR local delivery to the cities of Chaska, Chanhassen, Shakopee, and Waconia is available for a small fee.

Pickup at Play Date will be on Thursday, February 13th from 1-5pm, and on Friday, February 14th from 10am-5pm.

Deliveries will be made on Friday, February 14th from 9am-5pm.

New retail item!!

Play Date now carries Makedo Explore Kits!

Makedo's Cardboard Construction Systems allow kids to easily cut, connect, and fold cardboard easily and safely, allowing them to create to their heart's content!

We will have a set of these and some cardboard out this Wednesday, January 22nd from 9am-2pm for you and your kids to see and test out!

Makedo Explore kits will be available for purchase for $25 +tax at Play Date in the pop up retail shop while employees are present.

We can't wait to see what your kids create!
