Here’s Connie working on the head table design for yesterday’s wedding!! An arch of driftwood, greens and flowers extending over the head table. The design was accented with hanging votive candles and glass crystals. The crystals came from the chandeliers that hung at one point inside the house.

Inspiration can come from the most unlikely or random places. The lines created by graceful arms where you can feel the energy flowing from their fingers. Floral arrangements as well should not be viewed as stagnant pieces, but rather as art in a changing, impermanent media.

Such beautiful photos!! Thank you Kelly Cronin Bicknell for capturing our designs. It was a lovely day and we were so pleased to help make Brittney's wedding everything she dreamed it would be.

To quote one of Britt's favorite movies The Notebook..."It's not going to be easy. It's going to be really hard. And we're going to have to work on this every day, but I want to do that because I want you. I want all of you, forever, you and me." Did you just get all the feels? Does this quote make you want to watch The Notebook all over again like me? Britt & Will are the lucky ones...they have that love. While capturing them I thought I was watching a movie...there were moments - actually many moments that they were so in tune, so caught up in each other that in a sea of people they were truly floating on a cloud together - no one else around. Flirting, smiling and dancing in the sand. The day was theirs and they took in every moment. The way she looked at him, the way he made her smile and made her laugh was a dream to photograph...that rare effortless love. Thank you so much for asking me to document your beautiful love.

Such a fun morning yesterday working with the kids from Monomoy Community Services Summer Camp to create the centerpieces for the Taste of Chatham fundraiser. Flowers are not a typical medium for kids to work with, so they were excited. Making the bouquets for the event gave them the opportunity to contribute to the fundraiser they benefit from, and the guests at Taste of Chatham appreciated their creativity. The tent looked beautiful!!

The Peabody Essex museum is hosting an exhibit of wearable art and below are some of the designs. One created from zip ties. Another from molded metal mesh. One from exquisitely tooled leather.
