it was such a pleasure working with these two buffalo bills loving cuties! their community really rallied around them for this day--from a beautiful ceremony reading from a family friend to an incredible dessert spread from a bridesmaid, it's clear that these two are so loved and you only have to spend a couple of minutes with them to see why. their full review is below!

"Hannah was an amazing wedding coordinator! If you have the pleasure of meeting Hannah you can tell she truly has a passion for making people’s dream events come to life. We felt her support throughout our entire planning process and she was always there to promptly answer any of our questions, to give advice, and to offer solutions. Hannah was excellent at communicating with our vendors. Several vendors even reached out to tell us we had found a great coordinator because Hannah had been so organized and communicative with them. This really gave us extra peace and we knew the day would come together perfectly because all our vendors were on the same page! i could write a BOOK about the importance of day-of coordination and it’s one of the most common “should we or shouldn’t we” questions that couples ask when building their vendor team. i often boil it down to my couples like this: no amount of pre-planning can take away the responsibilities that exist when setting up a wedding. why wouldn’t you trust an expert to ensure that those tasks are completed to perfection?

as your day of coordinator, my sole responsibility is to consider you, your spouse, and your experience on your wedding day. to make sure that the day flows as you’ve planned it and that you’re able to experience and be present for all of the memories you’ve curated for your guests. it’s not something i take lightly, and it’s why i’m so proud of my day-of coordination package and all that i’m able to offer for my clients. i truly believe it’s the most comprehensive service of its kind and it’s $250 off through the end of the year. 💖

let’s talk full planning! there’s a lot of misunderstanding out there about what a wedding planner does and what’s included in that term and in the service. here are the 3 biggest myths about full planning and my approach!

💐 it’s too expensive/not worth the cost.
it’s true that a full service planner might not fit in every budget, but if you feel overwhelmed at planning a wedding yourself and/or are short on the time to dedicate to the process, it’s something to consider (and you’d be surprised at how affordable it is!) plus, i ensure that you’re getting the absolute most for your money and can let you know when it’s worth it to splurge and when to cut costs without jeopardizing the experience of your guests.

💐 my wedding won’t feel like “me” if i use a planner. this couldn’t be further from the truth! my favorite thing in the world is getting to know couples, their values, and their unique personalities, and working together to highlight that in fun details throughout their wedding experience.

💐 all wedding planners are the same. no way! just like every couple is unique, every person who dedicates themselves to this work does so for their own reasons and in their own way! my approach— emphasizing intentionality, limiting the number of full planning clients to ensure personalized experiences, focusing on local vendors and utilizing your community—is one i believe in and have honed over the last 3 years.

early this fall, i went full time with hg events. and for what feels like every waking second since then, i've been thinking about what i want that to look like. of ways to be more intentional, more cohesive, of ways to create something sustainable, that feels like me, and that holds its own in this absolutely bananas market/industry. and with a little help from my friends and family, i am so excited to present the new (and i think improved!!) hg events.

in an industry full of massive expectations, traditions with odd at best and problematic at worst origins, and so, SO many opinions, it would be odd to plan a wedding or big event and not feel overwhelmed. no matter my level of involvement in the day, i want to bring intention, expertise, and FUN to the process. to guide couples to vendors that can not only execute their craft but that share their values. to help bypass the trends and pinterest boards and focus on details that are useful and unique. to bring peace to a chaotic process and recenter the focus on what matters to YOU--whatever that may be!

things aren't just things i say, they're things i believe so deeply and what fuels me to do this work every day. i'll be sharing more in the coming days, including a new website, pricing, and some deals that will run through the end of the year. i'm so grateful for all the support so far and i can't wait to begin this new chapter and share more of this work with you all. love you. --hg
