What a view!

On the clearest of days, we can see all the way to Mount Le Conte and Clingmans Dome, located in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Located 100 miles away, as the crow flies, Mount Le Conte is the far left peak and Clingmans Dome is to the right of it.

A picture never does it justice, but we try all the same.

Had the privilege of painting Gabriel’s face tonight while at our Launch class. He was heading to the Children’s Hospital. I brought my paints and gave a face painting presentation and my “pitch” tonight along with all our fellow classmates

My fifth year helping out at the Ronald McDonald Fun Run. My side kick today was my best friend Cathy. (Her 3rd year of helping face paint) Lots of fun for everyone. What a great service in our community!

I absolutely loved every little guy that sat in my chair today as I painted at Flat Top Mountain but Mr “Dark Blue Tiger 🐯 “ (his request at only 3/4 years old) was my all time favorite! I told him he was “too cute” and he replied quick as a wink, “why yes I am”! Another little 6 (?) year old told me he wanted an orange 🍊tiger but, and I quote, “back in the day he used to like Spider-Man” 😂. I feel blessed to be have the opportunity to make these kiddos smile. They sure make me smile.
Shout out to my right hand man, Craig. I absolutely could not do this without him. Thank you, my love.

Another amazing event in the books! Summer Bash at Bethel Bible Village. Craig and I met new friends and some old friends while we volunteered. Each child was precious in how grateful they were for their face paint.
