This year Mother's Day hit a little different but yet the same in a sense. My Granny Joann Johnson would have been right here with us surrounding her. Although she wasn't here with us in the body she was definitely with us in spirit. Her presence has sorely been missed.
Every year for many years we always honor the matriarchs of family during this time but this year I decided to honor the women of my family differently by inviting them to brunch at my home with flowers, good tastin' wine, food, fellowship, laughter and lots of love.
These are some of the strongest women that I know that loves like non other.
Happy Mother's Day to these special ladies my mother Valarie Johnson, my Aunts Inez Lawrence and Tomesa Davis, and my cousins Atkinson and Brenda Carson.
I love y'all so much and hope that you enjoyed all that was and is in store for you!💞

With all of the excitement from Saturday’s celebration, I couldn’t let another day go by without congratulating my best friend on getting married! It was an honor being your best man for this special occasion.
As I proudly stood with you during the wedding ceremony... awaiting for your bride to be, my mind reflected upon many of the times when we had conversations about
finding our soulmates while being patient that God was gonna answer us in due time. We were honest, diligent, strong and steadfast in our talks with God and remained sensitive to His voice as He mapped things out for us both! We trusted in Him until this very day and now God has truly answered you back with giving you His BEST... One of the most sweetest and humbled women I have ever known... Kimberlyn Johnson Tumlin❤️. Thursday was a very exciting evening! Thank you to the UBUNTU Community, and everyone who signed up to make this happen. I must say it was an eventful time and really nice to share this moment. Seeing everyone virtually was needed.

We had an interesting time as I shared my heart and life story with a face to face interview about my life and career as a young black entrepreneur in the catering industry here in Chattanooga. To keep it brief, what started out as an interview became more of a heart to heart conversation that ultimately gave me a deeper appreciation for “Leaving Behind Legacies” as well as the Mastermind behind it all that created this AMAZING opportunity and platform for the Entrepreneurs in Chattanooga....
