Aaaannnnnndddd we’re back with another episode of WEDDING FAQs!!

Should I Hire a Wedding Coordinator? 🤔🤔
100% Yes!

Do you want to enjoy your wedding day? Do you want to see all your ideas come to fruition without you having to worry about it? Hire a wedding coordinator!

I’m not going to try and name all the things a planner/coordinator will do bc there are just too many!! I will say that if you don’t have a coordinator, all these duties will fall on SOMEONE! Enter mom, dad, aunt Sally, a Friendor (friend who agrees to be a wedding vendor for the day) or even worse…. YOU! Whoever agrees to take the responsibility will NOT get to enjoy your wedding. They will be too busy playing drill sergeant. You may be thinking “well I’ll just have them help up until dinner and then they can join the party”… nope! Doesn’t work like that. This person will be the point of contact for the whole day from Start to Finish. First to show up, last to leave. They will have to answer approximately 1.1 million questions throughout the day while wrangling all your friends and family members(who may or may not be intoxicated) while pushing your timeline to help maximize the flow of your day.

In my experience, DIY couples, couples with no coordinator, couples with a Friendor, or couples with a “venue coordinator” rarely have their day go as planned and are almost never able to maximize their timeline to its fullest potential. They are too busy stressing over the details!

While I completely understand it’s not in everyone’s budget to hire a full service or maybe even a partial service wedding planner, a month of planner can also be a great option! Your coordinator will save you hours (if not days) of time, stress, and confusion which realistically is priceless!

Wedding FAQs:
How long should my dance floor be?

Answer: 1-3 hrs.

1 hr: Perfect amount of time for groups who aren’t really big dancers or a more conservative crowd.

2 hrs: THE SWEET SPOT! The perfect amount of time to give everyone their fill while still leaving them wanting more.

3 hrs: This is for the ABSOLUTE PARTY ANIMALS!! The club goers, festival attendees, and concert enthusiasts! (Know your crowd)

Over 3 hrs: ❌🚫 Don’t do this to your party/guests. Trust me, this is a rookie mistake! 98% of people don’t have the juice for 3 hours so anything over 3 hours typically leaves your dance floor with dwindling numbers and forced smiles from people acting like they are still having a good time. No one has the attention span to stay in one place for that long and usually after 3 hours, ppl are ready for a change of scenery/location.
