Between silver being 30+ an ounce (it was 14$ when I started doing this 10 yrs ago), suppliers closing or restructuring, and the market changing it's harder to keep this up for fun and I definitely can't rely on it professionally anymore. Next week's Mead and Metal ~ JUNE 8th *NIGHT MARKET* might be my last in person art market for a while 🫠

Turn around time for these is 4-6 weeks as I'm currently working full-time Monday through Friday and doing jewelry more as a hobby on the side now (mostly on weekends if they aren't packed already... Outdoor markets are coming soon). There's a bunch of ready-made pieces still in the store, both on Etsy and my website!

Medical bills are getting loud so I'm going thru a lot of my inventory and marking down what's listed. Since I've been rejected for each show I've applied to the past 6 months, I'm getting a bit stressed. Turquoise measures 24x13 and 9x6mm, overall is approx 34x20mm.

Gorgeous multi-colored Golden Hills focal with spots of permafrost white. 16" paperclip chain (I can add an extension of 5$ per inch of Sterling chain), focal is 21x9mm, leaf castings measure an inch each with loop.

I listed this on my personal website because I hate Etsy. They keep hitting my premium stuff (250-500$) with 60-75$ in offsite fees that I can't opt out of. I think anything over 100$ will start being left off Etsy.

I found the purchase email last night for the turquoise, I spent 1/10th of what it's worth, and trouble is, I can't find anything as nice to replace it if I sell it 😭 so it needs to pay some significant bills in order to find a new home 💸

Golden Hills Turquoise is mined only 2 months of the year in the Golden Hills Mountains of Kazakhstan due to flooding in the area. Freezing temperatures and the duration of mining times make this gem-stone very rare. It is known as the 'blue turquoise', in the wide world, and can range from creamy blues to deep blues with rich chocolate matrixing. Lavender grade is highly sought after as the name sake implies a lavender tone.

I bought this stone 4 or 5 years ago when mining it was relatively new. I had no idea it's was so rare and ended up getting this at a really good price. Mined in 2017-18, the Golden Hills mines have only been used since 2013.

The darker blue is actually very lavender, it's a stunning stone for sure and I'm not sure that I want it to leave lol. Stamping is all by hand, mostly the fan stamp with circle accents.
