Grab a friend and your favorite vase and join us for a Mother’s Day floral workshop on the evening of May 10th at Good Fortune Soap and Spa! Silverwood Florals is leading this workshop, and guests will get to curate their own beautiful arrangement just in time for Mother’s Day.

Tickets include the floral arrangement as well as a skincare consultation from one of Good Fortune’s licensed estheticians. Free punch and champagne will also be available! If you don’t have a vase you’d like to bring, we will have homemade clay vases from a local artist available for purchase on-site. If you bring a vase from home, please choose one that is a small-medium size.

With almost every arrangement I do people are always drawn to the ranunculus’! This stunning little flower is such a showstopper! It comes in a huge variety of colors and sizes, and even their buds add so much fun and texture to arrangements.

I absolutely LOVE working with Dahlias! They are so hardy and their stems are massive so it is really easy to incorporate them into any sort of design. Here are some fun facts about Dahlia flowers:

Botanical Name: Dahlia pinnata
Best Place to Plant: Dahlias bloom best when planted in full sun and fertile, well-drained soil
Symbolism: Elegance, dignity, beauty, confidence
Fun Fact: Dahlias attract birds! If you would love to have more birds visit your garden, plant some Dahlias! If you are my sister-in-law Kristyn and you hate birds, then do not plant these! :D
