I'm not sure the best way to go about this... But we have a need. This one hits particularly close to home.
Tabitha Vandergriff, my cousin in-law who is a wonderful mother to 3 little ones and has helped run the Butter Company, Commercial Kitchen, and the Event Venue in Chattanooga since 2019, has recently been diagnosed with an aggressive Lymphoma. As some may already know, Tab created some of the original flavors of Chattanooga Butters, including the Pumpkin Spice that everyone loves so much, and she has been an integral cornerstone of our businesses in Chattanooga since we opened. If you've ever met her in person, you already know... She's one of the sweetest, most kind humans you will ever meet with an incredibly infectious laugh who always has a smile on her face.
The doctors have not given her good odds, as it's quite aggressively forming a tumor in her lungs. She's very young for this type of Lymphoma. It's a very uncommon disease for someone of her age.
She's been offered a treatment facility in Arizona who can help her with a highly targeted chemotherapy treatment and Vitamin infusions, but she needs help with said treatments very quickly.
She's lost about 70 pounds since her original diagnosis in September.
Treatment, housing, travel, and professional care will cost about $150k at a minimum, depending upon how long treatment will be required. The costs for initiating and booking this facility are needed to be paid now.
She just arrived this week and will be treated at the outpatient facility. Scott is currently with her for the first couple of weeks, as can be afforded, to help with her care. She will then need professional help to care for her when he leaves to go back to take care of the children.
If any of you can help with this need, it would be so greatly appreciated by Tabitha and all of the family. Anything at all would be helpful. Nothing is too small.
