Nick Lutsko & The 100K Band will perform a free outdoor show as headliner at this Friday’s Nightfall show on August 16th. Local band Randy Steele Music & High Cold Wind will open the show at 7pm, followed by Lutsko at 8pm.
A high-energy, theatrical show is guaranteed this Friday by Nick Lutsko, a Chattanooga multi-instrumentalist and songwriter who makes creative music ranging from psychedelic rock and pop to unhinged comedy songs with a band that includes human-sized puppets.
In addition to featuring world class musicians each week, Nightfall features food trucks, local artisan vendors, kids’ activities and more.
Join us this Friday, August 9, at Nightfall for local band The Foothills who will open the show at 7pm, followed by headliner Parker Millsap at 8pm.
Parker Millsap is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Purcell, Oklahoma. His own musical style represents a blend of blues, country, alt-country/Americana, and folk music.
In addition to being known for his show-stopping voice, Millsap plays acoustic and slide guitar, piano and harmonica.
Fresh, genre-bending rock is featured at this Friday’s August 2nd show at Nightfall in Miller Plaza and Miller Park in downtown Chattanooga.
Chattanooga-based duo The Cle Elum will open the show at 7pm, followed by headliner Okey Dokey at 8pm.

2024 Road to Nightfall Winners Showcased This Friday, June 28 on the Miller Park stage!
Nightfall will feature the local band PLVNET, this year’s Road to Nightfall winner, as the headliner at 8PM this Friday, with the runner-up band, In The Company of Wolves opening the show at 7PM.
ABOUT THE BANDS:
PLVNET beat out 30 over local bands during a six-night Road to Nightfall competition this Spring to win the headline position for this week’s Nightfall show. PLVNET (pronounced Planet) was founded in 2008 as the experimental side-project of a group of Chattanooga area musicians who had met when playing shows together in various other bands. Their goal was to have a truly collaborative environment where they could all flex some of their more eclectic creative muscles. The result has been a fresh but familiar brand of rock music that perspires influences ranging from 1970’s British rock to 1990’s American Alternative rock which earned them being optioned for sync licensing with MTV, ESPN and NASCAR.
PLVNET consists of six guys that write, record, perform and produce their own brand of alternative rock based on influences ranging from Muse to Radiohead, Beethoven to Tool. Releases include “Make Believe” (2012), “Syzygy” (2016) and the single “Mr. 2-Bits” (2022).
In the Company of Wolves, who placed second in the Road to Nightfall competition, won the opening act spot with a set from 7-7:40pm. In the Company of Wolves consists of Sydney and Brayden Guerrette, originally from Portland, Maine, now living in Chattanooga. They intertwine their love for music with a passion for storytelling, as they combine thought provoking lyrics with layered melodies. Rising blues star, D.K. Harrell will headline at 8 PM on the Miller Plaza stage with his band this Friday, June 21, at Nightfall, Chattanooga’s longest-running free summer concert series. Local blues band, the Skip Cisto Band, will open the show at 7pm. In addition to featuring world class musicians each week, Nightfall features food trucks, local artisan vendors, kids’ activities and more.
In less than a year, 26-year-old D.K. Harrell has catapulted from a blues artist with promise to one of the most sought-after musicians in the blues realm. His debut record, The Right Man on Little Village, won immediate critical raves worldwide upon its release in June 2023 and became the second most-played blues album on U.S. radio in 2023. In 2024 he was honored as Best Emerging Artist in the prestigious Blues Music Awards celebration held by the Memphis-based Blues Foundation. He also will play a stream of major U.S. festivals this year play in 10 different countries.
Opening this week’s show with a 7pm set is blues rock band, the Skip Cisto Band. This Chattanooga power trio features Skip Cisto, whose guitar playing and vocals are the focal point of the band. Popular at local clubs and festivals, the band is known for playing raw, heartfelt blues that Include both covers and originals.
Special features at Nightfall this Friday include a visit by the Braves Country Road Trip, an experiential marketing activation where fans can come up, put on a jersey and grab a bat or helmet, and step up to the plate and create their very own customizable baseball card. They walk away with a physical card and some cool swag.
David Glen Andrews, known for his trombone talents as well as for being a cousin of Trombone Shorty, will headline at 8pm with his band this Friday, June 14, at Nightfall! Reggae soul artist, Bemi Allen, will open the show at 7pm.

Also at Nightfall this week will be a special display of 25 cars from Rally USA Tennessee on exhibit in Georgia Avenue from 6:30-8:30pm to serve as the ceremonial start for the 2024 Tennessee Rally USA being held on June 14-15 in Chattanooga and Polk County, Tennessee.
