Flower of the week • Today’s flower of the week is the Lisianthus! These flowers are a symbol of gratitude so they are perfect to give to someone when you are grateful or thankful for them! Some fascinating facts about Lisianthus: 1. They are geotropic, which means even if you grew them upside down, their blooms would go up, against gravity and towards the light! 2. Flower of the week! • The Saguaro Cactus is a unique, tree-like cactus that can grow up to 60 feet tall! The Saguaro blossoms are the state wildflower of Arizona and only bloom for one day of the year. These cacti can range from 150 to 200 years old and they start to grow their arms around 50 years old. If you’re ever in Arizona, keep an eye out for these super cool cacti and try to spot one with a blossom! 🌼
