Hey y'all! I'm looking for people local to Chattanooga, TN, or very close for 2 things right now: (cross-posted)

1. I need extra hands for an event this Saturday 7/13 where I will be selling farm-to-table GF/DF and GAPS-compliant treats at a very cute flower U-Pick. Hours 7:30am-3pm. $10/hr. There will also be events, same place and hours every Saturday for the rest of July I need help with. Responsibilities: booth set-up and take-down with me like tent, tables, coolers, etc. Helping customers, especially if I'm talking to one which happens a lot with my events because they inquire about nutrition a lot, and taking photos and videos. You are welcome to take a break to eat, a complimentary treat and drink from me (if you need more I recommend bringing a lunch, your own water, etc.) and to take a moment to go see other vendors and see the flowers. Stop and smell the flowers!

2. I'm also looking for people local to Chattanooga, TN, or very close, who are interested in a GAPS-oriented career path. I have a food business that makes GAPS foods and I do consulting. I have 10 years experience with ancestral/Wise Traditions/Weston A. Price, 9 years of experience with GAPS, and I am a Naturopathic Doctor student. I've recently partnered with a great local business called The Agora Food Club and we are rolling out a wellness program that includes GAPS meals and classes along with WAPF meals and classes. I would like to find a local GAPS person as soon as possible to work with me to finish up some farmers market pop-up events where I sell GAPS foods and then move into our next projects. The first couple of hires will work very similarly to a personal assistant, but in a much more hands-on way where you will also be helping me make GAPS foods and receive mentorship so that you can eventually be teaching classes and consulting yourself. This is a great opportunity for anyone who has done GAPS, is on GAPS, or wants to do GAPS in the future. This is a paid position, not volunteer. $10/hr. I know that's not great pay, but I'm hoping the mentorship, having access to so much GAPS foods, and the fairly flexible schedule will compensate for the pay. I am looking for someone who is very serious about the position/work even if your health isn't great or you need some flexibility because I can train you and work with you on those things. This is not a good position for volunteer-work, there are other opportunities for that. I say that because it has been offered a lot, but I need something more serious at the moment. It will also be best for someone whose goal is to build their career path as it will lead to taking on clients of your own in probably about 2 years or sooner (depending on current credentials, etc.) and I require reading (like the GAPS books and related materials) during down time during work hours. While it isn't a guarantee or something I can promise right now, I would love to be able to pay for someone to go through the Certified GAPS Coach training if we can meet certain goals over the next couple of years. So in 2 years, a conservative consulting starting income (once this position is ready to work with clients independently with minimal assistance) is around $45/hr and you will get to work underneath most of my overhead costs. After that expect to increase your hourly rate at least once per year.

If you or someone you know is interested, please email me:

I could really use some help in covering some current and upcoming costs for Autumn Rayn's Kitchen. I've worked hard for many years trying to keep things afloat as a single mom entrepreneur with a big mission- providing meals, education, and resources for other people with special dietary needs just like my family has. I often say, I have been a momprenuer out of survival. From selling elderberry syrup off my front porch during shut downs, huddled up with my babies during those hard times, to making bigger and bigger batches of our favorite meals in order to turn our expensive, but required GF/special diet requirements into an income for us and all the while providing food for others who need it too. Some of the upcoming immediate costs will be steep for me and I appreciate any help, sharing, and donations we can get during the next few months! As far as I know, Autumn Rayn's Kitchen will be one of the first to have this new Farmer's Market Food Unit Permit in our area. My official big inspection is this upcoming Wednesday 5/1 and I'm so excited! I have so many good things happening right now that I can't wait to share.

I would like to say a very special thank-you to my amazing customers and clients who donated, shared, and encouraged me as soon as they found out I was preparing to launch my first crowdfunding campaign. Y'all are the kind of people that make missions like this truly come into fruition and I'm abundantly grateful! Getting to do this work is such a blessing.

Hey y'all! I could really use some help from our community in covering … Autumn Rayn needs your support for Help Autumn Rayn's Kitchen with Start-Up Costs

January Featured Farm: Hernandez Farms TN This family needs our help y’all! Hernandez Farms was one of the farms we planned to feature soon because they are dedicated to always providing a wide variety of local organic produce at the Main St Farmers Market for us to turn into nutrient-dense meals. So when tragedy struck and severe winds destroyed their new winter garden tunnels despite the tunnels being properly installed, we decided to pivot and use this as an opportunity to ask the community for help for the Hernandez Family. Click the link in our bio to donate to their GoFundMe Recovery and please share 🙏💚 We will be raising funds for 30 days which isn’t long so we need your help sharing! If you know anyone interested in matching the donation, please send us a direct message! Our goal is $5,000, but because they’ve now lost their projected winter income- they really need more than that to both recover from the wind damages and get their family through the season.

Even if you can’t donate, sharing makes a huge difference!

Thank-you so much to Hernandez Farms TN for being a wonderful farm-to-table resource for the Chattanooga and surrounding area community. Your family has worked hard to provide for us and the community, now it’s time for our community to provide for you!

They do not replace cooking at home, they are intended to supplement and to be safe and soothing options for the community-in-need.
