We’re so grateful for the City of Hendersonville Public Works and Henderson County Parks and Recreation and their incredible efforts in preparing the greenways and park for our rescheduled race and fall market date on Nov 10th. Thank you for your amazing commitment to our community!

🌳 Good news from the Oklawaha Greenway! Daphne took a running tour today, and the greenway is clear and usable. There are many trees down and cut-up on the sides of the path, but they’re out of the way.
👟 Registration is open for both the 8k and half marathon. If you are able to join us, please sign up and move with us! Both courses are USATF sanctioned and certified. We have amazing locally made pottery bear mugs + pottery bear ornaments for awards, + super cool bear finisher medals for everyone!
🏃‍♀️💻 Can’t make it on race day or supporting from afar? No worries! Consider participating virtually. Just select the 'virtual option' when registering, and run anytime, anywhere. You’ll still receive the awesome Black Bear race swag shipped right to you!
🍂 We will continue to hold the Black Bear Fall Market on race day. The market is open to the public and we look forward to having you there to support the local artisans and crafters! Race week is here for the 2023 MoonPie Move!
Join us this Saturday, May 6th for the MoonPie Move 5K/10K race. 👉5K runners will start and finish from the Red Bank Jubilee near Food City for a fast and flat route while the 10K will do the same route plus the challenging climb to White Oak Park.
Finishers will have the chance to indulge in MoonPies, coffee, and MoonPie Stout donated by Naked River Brewing.
👉Participants are encouraged to check out the Jubilee afterwards! A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the local chapter of Girls on the Run.
