Thinking about shuttering for a few weeks and having a little coffee shop up by the walmart, with books and puzzles, and you could get tarot readings and decorated with rocks and stuff.
Would need labor, and selling a lot of stuff I originally bought for crafting but never use.

Hey everyone!
We will be closed until at least Wednesday this week. We caught something and want to make sure we're not contagious anymore before opening back up.
That being said, once LS opens it's doors back up we will have the bounce house and ball pit up, so PLEASE DO NOT come in if you are sick!

Hey everyone, I'm wondering if this would be a cute "Elf on the shelf" idea?
Our family never had an elf, but I see people ask for the ideas all the time.
Perhaps next year Lucky Stars should have a naughty elf for the kids to follow their adventures!!

Hey everyone, this little one look familiar?

Do you recognize this stuffed animal?

This little fox got separated from their family here at the library this week. (We suspect someone was trying to get a little closer to the reindeer treats!) We've had a great time together the last few days, but we sure would like it if this little fox got home soon.

Let's keep the smile on this furry face (and maybe put one on a small patron when they're reunited, too)!

Come have cocoa, and celebrate the start of Christmas break with us!

After the event, head over to Cheboygan High School to watch the band concert!

An oldie, but goodie!

Today! Sunday, December 4th, 2022, 2-4pm, come to the library's annual "Christmas is Magic" event to meet a pair of Santa's reindeer!

Santa and Mrs Claus usually attend this event, but since they are very busy this year, they are sending reindeer from the North Pole to join us all for the first time.

The reindeer will be located outside, of course, in the main parking lot in front of the building. You can park in our other lot, directly north of the building. You can also park along the street around our building and west side school.

The Friends of the Library will be here during the event to share the Gift of Reading. This program provides new and gently used books, so kids will go home with a book to keep. This will be located inside the building, in the genealogy room next to the front desk.

We are open 1:00-5:00 today, so you'll also be able to warm up, use restrooms, visit the kids' room, explore new additions to the Library of Things, and check out materials while you are here.

Both of these events are free and open to the public. Masks are not required in the library but are welcome, and will be provided in the entrance lobby.

SANTA AND MRS. CLAUS ARE AT LUCKY STARS!!!
Stop in and have some loaded cocoa, get a picture with Santa, take home a craft!!
Afterwards, hit up the Cheboygan Library at 2 pm to hang out with the reindeer!!
