Shown here is a flower or ground meadow from last year. I love ground meadow arrangements for weddings as they are visually impactful, can be used in many ways, and are easy to repurpose after the ceremony. An excellent investment of your wedding dollars! Here’s a recent arrangement with several goodies from the cutting garden: Sarah Bernhardt peonies, Sicilian honey garlic, and branches from a dwarf Gingko shrub. The dramatic garlic scapes came from (24” tall!). And a little asparagus fern for airiness and to extend the lines. ...
What’s cool about this simple, elegant arrangement is that your guests will see those big, fat peonies from across the room. But people sitting or standing near it will enjoy the details of the twisting scapes, bell florets and Ginkgo leaves. There’s a lot going on when you look closely! ...

Save the Date: Ikebana-Style Workshop at , July 23, Wednesday, 6 PM - 8:30 PM. This will be a Crafts & Cocktails event, sure to be quite fun! Learn about the fundamentals of Ikebana design, and create a beautiful mid-summer arrangement. And you take your arrangement, container and pin frog home with you! .
