That was a great weekend!! Thanks to everyone who came out and enjoyed the retreat with us! Do you have some good photos? Send them or tag us in them! We'd love to see all the pics!

If you enjoyed yourself, please leave a review! We would love to keep building this event and making it even greater with every passing year. We already have some pretty grand plans in the works, and would love to see your faces again.

Just a packing reminder!

This is an outdoor RETREAT, so while there will be fun n games n quests to be had, bring the usual things that make you feel comfy and relaxed during the day:

Bug spray
Layers
Comfy hobbit chair/lounger/blanket to sit on
Sunscreen/hat
Decent shoes (for the hobbit trail)
Flashlight (for overnighters)
Water bottle

Also bring cash and good hobbit energy!

If you are staying the night, there will be a fire jam at 9pm if you want to bring props!

On theme costumes encouraged!

Our bartender for the weekend made up these graphics for a couple of the handcrafted cocktails.
First is a UV reactive drink called Sting that is only available for VIP guests.
Another is called 'Cast it into the Fire Cider.'
There will be a couple more cocktails, 'Sweet as the Shire Lemonade' and 'Dragonsickness.' Iowa beer and local mead will also be available at the Hobbit pub.

Releasing the itinerary of scheduled events!

In between the questing, taking fantasy photos, playing games with the Elves, and visiting the merchants, be sure to go see these performers and entertainers.

Another reminder to bring cash! We cannot guarantee every vendor will have access to an electronic payment methods. The closest ATM is 6 miles away in Toledo.

We will be posting a MAP of the grounds so you know where to go beforehand.

Very excited to announce A Rogue Wave will be performing in the shire! From traditional Celtic to fun sea shanties, they are sure to keep the merriment flowing!

Fire-spinning Gollum is back with more mischief and trickery! We will be releasing the itinerary soon so you don't miss a show or event!
