Normally the BCVRPD board meetings are held at Noble Creek but since that park is being used as Fire Camp for agencies responding to fires in surrounding areas, it’s time to hold a meeting here at our beautiful Grange! The public is welcome!

🔳 BCVRPD Board Meeting CHANGE:
Due to Noble Creek Regional Park and Community Center acting as the current headquarters for Fire Camp (fhank you to all fighting the ) we have made some changes for our upcoming board meeting.
Our next meeting will now be held on THURSDAY, September 12, 2024 at the Cherry Valley Grange (10478 Beaumont Ave, Cherry Valley) at 5:00pm. The public is encouraged to attend.

Another FREE history presentation here at Cherry Valley Grange Community Center - don't miss it!
October 12, 7 p.m.

Pictured is an original 1963 tram car making its way up (or down?) Chino Canyon at the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway in the year it opened. The program at the historical society meeting this Thursday, Oct. 12, 7 p.m., will explore the history of the tramway. Historian Steve L**h will make the presentation. He recently published the book "Crocker's Folly–The Development of, and Opposition to, the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway," and copies will be available for sale and signing. Location: Cherry Valley Grange Community Center, 10478 Beaumont Ave., Cherry Valley. Parking is in back of the building. Free and all are welcome.

This is Gilman Ranch Week for the historical society! Tonight, Thursday, Dec. 8, learn about the pioneer Gilman family and their ranch at our meeting, which starts at 7 p.m. at Cherry Valley Grange Community Center! This Saturday, Dec. 10, our history exhibit will be on display at the Gilman Ranch, which is a beautiful historical park, for the "Christmas at the Ranch" festival, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Join us!!

Tonight, the Cherry Valley Grange Community Center is at 10478 Beaumont Ave., Cherry Valley; free, and all are welcome; parking is in back of the building. On Saturday, Gilman Ranch is at 1901 W. Wilson St., Banning. Entry is $5 per person or $10 per car, cash only. The festival is so fun: ranch house tours, food trucks, craft sales, stagecoach rides, Santa, fine art for sale, and, of course, OUR EXHIBIT! See you there!

It's cold out today, but it'll be all warm and cheer at our meeting, this Thursday, Dec. 8, at 7 p.m.: The program will be a delightful look at "A Winter's Day with the Gilmans," the pioneer family that made so much history in Banning.
