AVAILABILITY: Currently, I shoot portraits, senior photos, live events, and more. You're speakin' my language. Want to travel to a gorgeous location? Day trips are my favorite! I film weddings, but don't photograph them. EXPERIENCE: I've been in the game for over 6 years, taking on a wide array of challenges. Anything from family sessions to travel films, I've done it, including many challenges in between.

Nature and I had a MOMENT with this first picture… This was my first time visiting RMNP and I was totally blown away. Walking up to the overlook felt like a panoramic movie scene unfolding before us. The grandeur completely unfolds around you, hugging every angle of your vision with this expanse of mountains and sky and marigold YELLOW. What a wonderful sight! Really recommend visiting the Rockies should you ever get the chance!

I PUBLISHED A BOOK. "The Things I Never Said: a collection of poems" is a project I've been working on for yearssss now. It’s in times like these that the ocean provides a needed reset: to make us feel simultaneously small and part of something much bigger. Our great God of the universe commands the seas and we are but a wave on a shoreline, lapping at the bigger picture regardless of how stormy its waters.

The most rewarding adventures always come outside your comfort zone. I’ll admit... kayaking over the open ocean is a littttllleee bit TERRIFYING. What if there’s a whale that surfaces and tips you over? 🐳Or sharks circling below?? 🦈Or a storm gathering and the waves get too rocky??? 🌊Those were the (mostly irrational) thoughts telling my brain to turn around. Keeping our sights on the destination ahead made it all worth it, though! Next up: circumnavigating a deserted island 😍

Goood morning! Today I’m taking a half day-of-prayer as a means to pause, reflect, and reset. What routine rituals do you use to stay sane?
📖 For me, prayer days are an important part of my faith. I always hike out to a favorite spot, set up the hammock, and take several hrs to catch up on bible reading, prayer journaling, and quietly enjoying creation. It’s an awesome way to refresh my life in all kinds of ways- spiritually, mentally, and even in creativity or business practices. With this crazy busy world, it’s a MUST these days!
📕I’ve been reading “The Ruthless Elimination of Hurry” by pastor John Mark Comer and WOW is it a good read. Highly recommend for all Christians and even non Christians to read!!!

Tendrils of forest-filtered light snooping into an unsuspecting room.
Mornings like these characterize getaways to the beloved Pipestem State Park. The cabin is quiet and smells faintly of smoke from last night's bedside (well, cot-side...) fire. Wirey shadows remind you to hush while the others are still sleeping, though little stirring is required to enjoy the waning yellow moment.

My favorite kind of photography is the adventure kid. The boot stompin', trail blazin' kind. The kind where you go backpacking for 3 days and end up spending the fourth night in a hotel to save yourself from post-hurricane-monsoon-level-rain. Yeah... things got MUDDY. But that's still my favorite photo kind.
