We’ve worked with on many, many occasions and all of their DJs bring the party! It’s definitely a party when is involved!

“It all started in 2009 when Carlos and Tony decided to get together to share their passion, music & people.

🎉⭐️We have some exciting news!⭐️🎉

If you’ve been following us for a while, you may remember this face. Caitlin started out as an intern with us way back in 2009. She became one of our lead coordinators, then took some time off to raise her babies. I’m excited to say that we are very happily welcoming Caitlin back as one of our lead coordinators!

Caitlin Battis (Casey) joined the Pink Olive Events team as an intern in 2009 and is now one of our Lead Coordinators. Since then, she has worked, planned and facilitated many events over the years for Pink Olive Events, including weddings, parties, charity events and more. In her full time job as Director of Business Development for an international consulting firm, she spends most of her time building relationships with clients to ensure all of her clients’ needs are not only met, but exceeded. Currently, Caitlin is a candidate for a Master of Business Administration from Post University in Waterbury, CT, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Communications from Southern Connecticut State University.

Caitlin has been involved in community philanthropy and pro Bono work since a young age with experience in planning large galas, golf tournaments, corporate outings, community events and so much more. She has also been recently appointed to the Town of Beacon Falls Parks and Recreation Board, where she will be involved in all sorts of fun community events.

Caitlin and her Husband Eric have two (2) wonderful children young children (4 and 3). When not working, they enjoy doing things as a family, especially anything outside and adventurous. On any given Sunday, though you can fine her cooking up a nice meal and having her family and friends over to enjoy.

Are you ready for our big news?? 🥁🥁🥁 Last year, we were lucky enough to meet Ide and Mel who own @bridalaffection, @bridaltrousseauct and @weddingrealm. Ide was in the early stages of starting @weddingrealm and was looking for some insight into wedding planning services and pricing. Thank you to everyone who came or participated in our Holiday Pop Up Market yesterday! We had a lot of fun and even bought a few Christmas presents! 🎅🏼🎁🎄🍻

I don’t know who needs to hear this but… …backyard 👏🏼 weddings 👏🏼 aren’t 👏🏼 cheaper! You are essentially building a venue from the ground up (literally!) and everything that goes in it. From the tenting, dance floor, tables, chairs, linens, plates, silverware, bars, salt and pepper shakers, glassware, serving utensils, heating/fans, restrooms and so much more that you haven’t even begun to think about yet. Consider the type of food you wish to serve. Who’s going to cook and serve it? You need staff. Chefs, waitstaff, bartenders, utility people to collect and clean rentals, the list goes on… For this wedding which was hosted at the groom’s family’s horse farm, we sourced the tenting and flooring from one company and the remaining rentals from a second company.
