From ceremony to sweetheart table. Don’t let those beautiful florals go to waste! Repurpose what you can. We were lucky enough to have @stamfordflorist stay onsite through the ceremony so that they can move these beautiful green floral columns to the sweetheart table afterwards. We also arranged the bridesmaids bouquets for decoration in front of the table.

Last year, we were lucky enough to meet Ide and Mel who own @bridalaffection, @bridaltrousseauct and @weddingrealm. Ide was in the early stages of starting @weddingrealm and was looking for some insight into wedding planning services and pricing. I was happy to help give him some info that was later used on the website.
Fast forward to a few weeks ago and I was asked if I would mind speaking on camera about @weddingrealm for a national tv show! Of course I was excited about this and happy to help Ide and Mel. The show is called Empowered and is hosted by Meg Ryan. It’s a year long national campaign. We dont have the full one year long schedule yet, but here is a sneak peek.

…backyard 👏🏼 weddings 👏🏼 aren’t 👏🏼 cheaper!
You are essentially building a venue from the ground up (literally!) and everything that goes in it. From the tenting, dance floor, tables, chairs, linens, plates, silverware, bars, salt and pepper shakers, glassware, serving utensils, heating/fans, restrooms and so much more that you haven’t even begun to think about yet. Consider the type of food you wish to serve. Who’s going to cook and serve it? You need staff. Chefs, waitstaff, bartenders, utility people to collect and clean rentals, the list goes on…
For this wedding which was hosted at the groom’s family’s horse farm, we sourced the tenting and flooring from one company and the remaining rentals from a second company. And let’s not forget the decor! All of these amazing vendors came together to create this magic.
