Good morning, it's another for you fine folks!

Aminata is one of our esteemed Leaders here at CFA Chester! She's been with us in Front-of-House for going on 2 years, and has been an absolute rockstar the whole time. It's no wonder she moved into a leadership role quickly!

If you come into the restaurant, you might see Ami running about ensuring things are running smoothly. She's a self-proclaimed shy individual, but she runs a tight ship, and cares deeply about her coworkers.

"I'm not gonna lie, the team members are the best part of the job," Aminata said. "They make it enjoyable."

Outside of CFA, Aminata is working towards degrees in two majors: Criminal Justice and Homeland Security. Her dream is to become an FBI Agent, but wants to spend some time doing local policing first. Admittedly, her career choice is largely inspired by crime shows like Criminal Minds and Law & Order. Who hasn't wanted to be the next Detective Benson after a few episodes of SVU? 🚓

When she isn't leading shifts or honing her investigative skills, Ami is probably watching sports. She's a big Eagles fan and, while not necessarily a Lakers fan, she does love LeBron.

Aminata, we're beyond lucky to have you working with us. We appreciate all you do, and can't wait to see all you accomplish!!

Happy everyone, we've got another face to brighten your day!

This is Kevin! Kevin has been a part of our team for about 7 months now, and we're already hoping we get to keep him for a while. Usually, you can find Kevin in the Back-of-House, at what we call the Drops station. This is where our famous chicken is breaded and fried before it gets to your tray or bag! If you've had a classic or spicy fried sandwich here in the last few months, you've likely enjoyed some of Kevin's hard work!

This is Kevin's first job. He said that he was hoping his first job would be somewhere easy; and though this certainly has been more of a challenge than he anticipated, he has absolutely risen to the challenge of fast paced, quality chicken craftsmanship! He had nothing but good things to say about the friendships he's made, and the leadership he gets to learn from.

Once Kevin is finished with high school, he is very excited to attend trade school to learn plumbing and electrical work. He's had the opportunity to work a little bit on some septic and plumbing systems, and has built his own PC - some excellent groundwork for his potential career choices! We think many of the skills learned here at CFA Chester will prove invaluable as well! 💪

Outside of work and school, Kevin enjoys hitting the gym, fishing (a 50-pound catfish is his biggest catch yet!) and playing games like Marvel Rivals or Rainbow Six. His family means a lot to him as well - being the oldest of 6 siblings is a big deal! You may have noticed, also, Kevin's tattoos. The two on his right arm are symbolic, honoring his dad and his family name.

Kevin, we're both extremely lucky to have you around and excited to see all you accomplish! Thanks for doing what you do!

Another to brighten your scrolling!

You might recognize Alyssa from the drive-thru by her bow she always makes sure to wear, or it could be the fact that this girl is never not smiling. Though she's been part of our team for less than a year, Alyssa hit the ground running from day one and has been learning and serving ever since!

She very much enjoys interacting with all of our hungry Guests in the drive-thru lane - a more personal experience is better than the sometimes "overstimulating" inside frenzy. 😵‍💫

That said, Alyssa is trustworthy anywhere she is needed in the restaurant. It's no surprise she can do just about anything - her hobbies are as vast as her people skills. Alyssa spends a great deal of time as a swimming instructor at a local pool, learning how to play the piano, crocheting, photographing the baseball team at Wells Elementary, and even does video work for her church!

She plans to study nursing at an in-state university with the goal of becoming a pediatric nurse. She's already working hard in her dual enrollment classes to get prepared for college. She enjoys working with kids, which seems to be hereditary. Her family as a whole does a lot for kids; her parents are children's ministry pastors!

Alyssa, we're very proud to know you and to have you as part of our team, we can't wait to see all you accomplish! Thanks for all you do! 🎉

Happy everyone, hope you're all enjoying the warmer weather!

This week, we spoke to Robert. Although he has been with our team less than a year, he's making huge waves at CFA Chester!

Robert has worked a few different jobs in his time, but was looking for something a little faster paced, a little brighter, and with a friendlier atmosphere. It seems we've hit the mark - Robert is incredibly valued here, and he definitely keeps busy! He can be found just about anywhere Front-of-House, from running around making sure things are stocked during lunch to driving delivery orders around Chester!

Robert is a quiet guy; a self-described "observer and listener." As such, he thrives in expressing himself through art in his spare time. His hobbies include drawing, woodworking, and painting miniature figures for tabletop games. At least until his cats get in the way - he currently has 3 furry pals, but at one point had more than 5 cats in the house! 🐈

"I guess it's a form of meditation," Robert said. "You can focus on something and reflect on other things while you do it."

Robert, you've already proven yourself to be a vital part of our team, and we can't express our appreciation enough. Keep up the good work!

For this , we have the man, the myth, the legend himself!

Anthony is a pillar of our kitchen here at CFA Chester - a Back-of-House leader known for his calm attitude and analytical mind.

Anthony is a man of many talents. He's just about to finish up an engineering degree at Brightpoint, and plans to continue his studies at VCU. When he's finished, he'll be the first in his family to have earned an engineering degree. 🎓

He has a great deal of interest in mechanical engineering, which comes from a lifelong love of rollercoasters. He hopes one day to be the one to design them for parks he grew up going to, like King's Dominion. His hobby projects include things like Arduino kits, 3d printing, and robotics. If rollercoasters were to not work out, he mentioned being interested in working on or designing elevators - anything to move people around, it seems!

During the pandemic, Anthony found a position in the Back-of-House of a Mechanicsville Chick-fil-A, where he found a stride and got promoted quickly. He came to be part of our team just a little while later; soon enough, we were breaking records and improving our customer experience scores! Correlation doesn't imply causation, but it sure feels like it does!

Outside of work and school, Anthony can be found at the gym trying to hit a PR on the bench press, eating good food with friends, and of course, studying engineering. He tries to visit his family's home country of Guatemala when he can.

Anthony, you're such a hardworking guy, and we're incredibly fortunate to have you on the team. It's not always a breeze, especially with engineering school to deal with, but it's like you said:

"You'll never be great without setbacks."
